Single player masterpieces? The stories and scripts are great. The voice acting, graphics (even at the times of release, always look dated), the animation, physics and clunkyness of the overall gameplay makes them nowhere near masterpiece in my opinion.
Bethesda has needed calling out for a long time. Any other games that had the same issues as fallout or the ES games would be severely marked down in reviews. I'm glad they are getting called out now. It's long over...
Exactly. Maximise profits for the base game, then release a F2P mode later to entice people who were on the fence or never interested in BF to give it a go to potentially make more money via battle passes which are already confirmed for BF2042. This is EA. They love money lol.
It's a game mode. How is that a fad? At one point when games didn't really have much to offer outside of DM and TDM. When other new modes such as SnD, CTF and KOTH were they labeled as a fad?
BR ain't for everyone and not every game needs one but look how far the BR concept has came from its infancy much like traditional multiplayer modes in general. Just because it don't appeal to you, there's literally 100s of millions of people playing BR games collec...
@creating, whilst CRTs are great, it sounds to me that you've not done a whole lot of research into TVs for a long, long time judging by this post. Blurring on today midrange to high end TVs is very minimal with the advancments in motion processing. Also if you're noticing 13ms input lag I want your super human ability to see that. There's a reason why tests are shown in slow motion lol...
Also maybe you're still using last gen consoles or a not so new PC b...
It did look great but it means absolutly nothing if they play as horrendously and as broken as Bethesda previous works. Hopefully MS will give them a kick up the arse in the testing department.
Fallout of all games... Each to their own but Fallout games barely function as they were intended let alone be a contender for best open world game ever. Bad gameplay, graphics, voice acting, dialogue, animations. I'm glad people have taken off their rose tinted glasses towards Bethesda the last few years.
It is enormous, beautiful tons of content and filled with detail as you said but it's one bore fest of a game to play. The most crucial element of a videogame is where it lacks.
"Its an open world game without needing to be open world". So many developers need to be told this. Way to many games force a open world setting in today market.
But you everyone loves Fallout which is played in first person by the majority of players and that is a dated, poorly voice acted, poorly animated ugly mess with a great story but people still love them games.
Bethesda get a free pass for the same shortfalls that Cyberpunk had but people won't discuss that because Bethesda can do no wrong apparently.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not lol. There are robots out there that are dog-like. There's videos out there of it in America if I remember correctly.
Also of rumours are to believed BF6 is set to be set a few years ahead of now.
Have you got short term memory loss or did you not see what happened with Cyberpunk just a few months ago? Games take time to make. Throwing your toys out the pram ain't going to speed anything up 🙄
If anything The Last of Us as a brand is about to explode even bigger with the TV show and rumoured multiplayer. TLOU2 broke records with accolades and approval from inside and outside of the industry. The second one didn't succeed the first game but it was still incredible to nearly everyone except the vocal minority online but yet it's apparently dead... 😴
Warzone has gave me great memories and friendships through lockdown but Raven taking credit for Infinity Wards creation is a bit rich. Since raven took over Warzone it's been in its worst state since release. Let's hope now that theyve put their own spin on verdansk with 1984 version that they take a bit more pride in their work 🤞
There was nowhere near the levels of hype for BFV compared to this lol. A lot of people were put off that it was a WW2 shooter so close after a WW1 shooter, then the trailer dropped and it lost more momentum for obvious reasons, that trailer was awful lol
Bigger player counts, modern day, more destruction and this year's COD being based in WW2 (by sledgehammer who make sub par COD titles IMO) has all the makings of a success story for Battlefield.
I'm all for destruction but not everything should be leveled. Bad company 2 was a great game with some incredible maps but every match of rush would have some dick in a tank collapsing all the buildings which made it a hard time to play. There still need to be element of map design. Not just destroy everything lol
Same boat. The game has a massive learning curve. I took a break, came back to see a loads of new operators with new abilities. Everything I knew went out the window. I spent more time spectating thatln playing lol
What Fortnite has become? Out side of the internet shitting on it, the game is still a monumental behemoth even now after losing players it's still pulling 6 million online players at any one time lol
TLoU2 didn't end the story? It left it wide open. I cannot wait to see what comes next as many millions of others are.
That's being said, TLoU2 doesn't need a remake. The original game still holds up incredibly well.
Here in the UK we have Boomerang games. £9.99 unlimited swaps. Saved myself a fortune on some games that I'd never have tried if it weren't for the service.
Let's not forget some of this games multiplayer maps are the size of certain games BR modes. A single episode of Family Guy takes a year to finish, does that mean you wait that long for a new episode? No. They work on multiple episodes/maps at once so they come out together. It seems you have very little knowledge on creative process.
