Bethesda were always this way. The bad graphics, the bad animations, the awful voice acting, the jankyness and abundance of glitches and bugs. They were praised for their world building (which is wrong because any other game released in the mess TES, Fallout would be torn to shreds). Now, the rest of the industry have surpassed them in every single way, Bethesda continue to think they can release games in the state like they did years ago and get the free pass they used to.
Next gen needs to be held off for as long as possible. Its not like we've see a massive leap in innovation in any sector of gaming in the last 6 years anyway. If they release 2027/2028 and these component prices keep rising, I genuinely believe the console market will collapse. Sales will tank massively.
Its widely accept that Sony this generation has been underwhelming. We've had more peripheral releases, controller variants, PS5 accessories than games it feels like. The exclusives were also PS4 and what little output they have put exclusively on PS5 is nowhere near as memorable as what came in every generation before that.

Almost everyone didn't know or care for weeks and as soon as it came out, everyone jumped on the bandwagon. The same with the song I Run, the same with AI art. I get the anti AI stance but the truth is, alot of people only complain about it because others are. If you didn't know it was AI, you would have never had said anything.
You don't get rid of big portions of a division to replace them to do the same thing. MS has been critical of Xbox for a few years now.
As a Sony fan, I hope they can bring competition back to Sony because I think Sony have become very complacent the generation. They haven't had time try and whilst there's been a few good exclusives, nothing on the level or as memorable as previous PS generations.
The disagrees... There's no one who will say PS5 has been the best PS generation who's old enough to have played them all. It's by far their weakest. They haven't tried this generation and have had more announcements for special edition consoles, controllers, headsets and monitors than they have exclusive games. PS5 is a great console but the lack of competition has made Sony lazy.
Something selling well doesn't mean anything in any walk of life from cars, mobiles, films and consoles. Sony hasn't had competition this generation and it's been easily Playstations worst generation ever from an exclusive standpoint. Xbox has been dire but I hope Helix can give Sony the kick up it's ass it needs to be better.

Wolverine is yet another superhero third person cinematic melee combat game.
Intergalactic is another cinematic, third person melee combat game from what we know.
Saros is nothing more than Returnal reskin so far. It's all very boring, uninspired and safe.
Releasing other games doesn't mean they're not heavily relying on the same IPs over ...
I hate how predictable Sony Studios have become. They are pretty much the GOW, Horizon and Spiderman studios now. They are great games but let's mix it up a bit. We used to give Xbox sh*t back in the day for being the Forza, Halo, Gears rinse and repeat but Sony is becoming the same.

They did delay season 2 and the season in general was pretty light in content but you must have a strict NAT type because even with cross play off on PS5 it never goes past 10 seconds before I'm in a game.
Valve could have sold this at a loss and raked it in with the gained game sales. It seemed as soon as they said it's priced more like a PC and less like a console, everyone lost interest. They could have stole so many console players.
This really doesn't look that great. Outside of the technical standpoint which all their games excel at, I'll never understand the appeal of Horizon. It's Sonys Ubisoft-like game with polish. It follows all the same old open world gameplay tropes that Ubisoft get blasted for.

This place has been on decline for years. From technical issues to late stories. Im assuming there's been a massive decline in users or something behind the scenes changed because it never used to be like this. As soon as news broke it was there. Now it can be days late.
I'm not even a massive Horizon fan, it's Sonys version of a 'Ubisoft formula game' (without the hate) but you have to be completely delusional to not see that this is pretty much a rip off you'd expect from a mobile game, not a console you planned to release the game on, especially the creators of the console lol
They don't have a monopoly. There's countless stores offering games at lower prices than Steam. Steam is just ideal because it's more than just a store front.
