This place has been on decline for years. From technical issues to late stories. Im assuming there's been a massive decline in users or something behind the scenes changed because it never used to be like this. As soon as news broke it was there. Now it can be days late.
I'm not even a massive Horizon fan, it's Sonys version of a 'Ubisoft formula game' (without the hate) but you have to be completely delusional to not see that this is pretty much a rip off you'd expect from a mobile game, not a console you planned to release the game on, especially the creators of the console lol
They don't have a monopoly. There's countless stores offering games at lower prices than Steam. Steam is just ideal because it's more than just a store front.
We should be far more worried when PS or Xbox goes totally digital with their closed off store fronts. Currently physical is always cheaper here in the UK by up to £20 for a day one release. If we went full digital with no competition, I'll be done with consoles unless they allow other places to s...
It's never been out of stock in my shop. We're swamped with them. That being said, they aren't selling anywhere near as much as we were expecting either. I'm sure that will change now in coming weeks with Christmas though
Bethesda? Fix?!
The last unstable launch was BF4. You seem to be stuck in the past
Why would anyone pay more for less? Physical is always cheaper. It also has way more pros than digital. All because you're to lazy to change a disk. Wild.
Panic mechanic, of course either inflates numbers. Wii Sports is one of the most "sold" games of all time dispute being given as part of every Wii console sold. Every bundle game ever is considered a sold unit since forever.
Horizon is a polished, ubisoft game. If Sony didn't make it, no one would care. They are beautiful showcases with shallow gameplay.
The second game was also given away for free one Christmas with every PS5 sold which inflated numbers. Horizon are good games if not the most generic when it comes to gameplay out of Sony's IPs
Physical media is still cheaper than digital meaning it's anything other than a con.
Yet, you commented...
It's still a disk you can lend to a friend, sell, collect etc. You're not doing that with a totally digital file.
@GamerRN, he's also said that they'd make a TLOU3 if they could make it work. Right now he's probably down playing it to not make it overshadow Intergalactic.
CW and BO6 zombies have been absolutely terrible. I hate the way they've butchered the mode but with all the good people of Treyarch gone, it's not surprising.
Tbh after this generation, you're probably right to if you haven't dipped already. It's been the most underwhelming generation and with the constant price rises, I dread to to think how next generation is going to fair when so many people are still playing PS4 and Xbox One
I'm in a capitol city of the UK and we've had Switch 2s sat in store for weeks. We had 80 pre-orders, we had stock shortly after to sell and no one asks for it. I'm sure Christmas will change that but compared to the demand of other consoles, it's weird to see a lack of interest outside of the die hard Nintendo fans atm
Red Card Soccer was a thing. Also back in the day you could use cheats on FIFA to turn on no fouling, no handballs, turn the ball on fire etc. This take is nothing new. Just not been seen for a few decades
Extra has been getting worse and worse each month. I've had it since it's launch and it's been great to play some games I may not have played but the selection has been declining rapidly for a while now. My sub runs out in August and I'll be going back to essential. They actually add games to that which are more appealing.
@Jeece it was stuck behind a paywall the same way blackout failed behind a paywall too.
It's always me me me me me with you lot. There's a difference between representation and forcing it for the sake of forcing something to a very very loud but very small minority.
