Ah, so this is where these inflated numbers come from is it? blu-ray.com? Nice unbiased source you got there.
I have no problem with them saying about how good their format is doing, anyone else would do the same, but what gets my back up is inflating the numbers to give it more impact than it usually would have. 87:13 is about the same or less than 7:1. An impressive margin, but there is no need to inflate the ratio 13 times to get bigger numbers. Here, try 334:50. Sound...
Anyone who even considers that these might be real for a second is a retard. First, why would a "Chinese source" have a "leak" of an operating system being developed in America?
The other thing is look how complete and polished it looks. Do you remember the Vista screenshots when it was known as longhorn? They were barren. Barely anything was coded yet apart from the basics. In the about tabs they have a link to read the EULA. The EULA will be one of t...
Haha, this is typical. MS always shaft their consumers. I give them credit for listening to people who were dissatisfied with the disgraceful Xbox Live service over the Christmas weeks (which kinda rolled into 2 weeks of hit and miss service), but now I find it's another generic shooting game, I am disgusted.
For starters, not everyone likes shooting games. Hard to believe, I know, since that's what 80% of Xbox games are, but I got mine for the few good non shooting games li...
I'm still waiting for my free xbox live game they promised due to the crappy live at christmas. ms are full of crap
85:15 is roughly less than 6:1. While it is still significant, it doesn't sound as impressive as 85:15. Stop grabbing for straws as it makes you look desperate.
Actually, you could say it was outsold 255:45. Wow that sounds a lot doesnt it? It's the exact same ratio though
My initial reaction was, "Jesus Christ, I never thought I'd see the day the console of my childhood would make a return in an industry now full of mediocre FPS and graphics driven game. Sega has done a great turn this time, and hopefully more will follow causing a semi second life for the MegaDrive and/or the SNES"
I was pumped. I was thinking how come Sega still has the hardware to manufacture MegaDrive stuff even after becoming third party (hell, even moving to th...
Ahahahaha, look at all the butthurt sonyfags disagree with my post and even take away my bubbles. Did I actually say anything that out of line? Think about it. Tell me what part of my post you disagreed with, because in my opinion (apart from a little dig at the PS3 being worth more to Sony as a Bluray player rather than a games console), most of what I said was on the mark.
If anyone would take away my freedom of speech, I'd expect it to be Microsoft and it's trolls, but yo...
That is everso slightly different in that, Rare owned everything regarding Conker as it was original work, however Goldeneye was an existing copyright, so effectively all Rare did was code it, so they aren't really able to throw their weight around on that one (at least I think not). It's a stretch of the imagination, but it's kind of like a bunch of Nintendo employees coding a game, leaving the company, setting up an new one and saying "Hey, we coded this game, now we want to port it&q...
(This wasnt a response to anyone, just an error in replying)
If you want someone to blame, blame Microsoft. Nintendo would jump at the chance for Goldeneye, Killer Instinct or Banjo Kazooie for VC, but from what I gather, Microsoft isn't willing to play ball. This obviously gets Nintendo's back up and they think if MS won't co-operate with us to get our old titles up and running, why should Nintendo help MS?
Just posting to say I told you so.

But no, everyone was like, "lolz, you don't know whats happenin in teh industrees"
It doesn't take a mastermind to know that Nintendo would never allow a game that appeared on their system as an exclusive at that time, to appear on another console.
The only way that would happen would be for Nintendo...
It's licensing, not software.
Oh zing. So much for the superior format. Stick that in your unfinished spec and smoke it. This was the reason I was against Bluray, and people were just like, Lol, troll.
I love how everyone is claiming Bluray the victor, when in reality both formats are still niche. The war isn't between the two, it's between Bluray & HD-DVD vs DVD.
Anyway, HD-DVD will be back, mark my words. As for the studios? Well if HD-DVD began outselling Bluray, who would stick with the failing format? They will jump ship just as easy as they have jumped ship before.
The other thing is that Bluray only has the installed userbase it does due to the P...
I won't be surprised to see MS come in third place this gen. Just wait... I think there is a big amount of American pride with the 360. Americans like American product, and Xbox360 fits the bill, however the Japanese don't buy it. That's a worthwhile market they are missing out on. If the Japanese liked it, they may have sold another 3 million units on top of what they have done now.
But what about the people that already own Xbox360s? Japanese and Europeans are less tole...
I hope they do. The market isn't big enough for three. Sega learned that the hard way, in part thanks to Sony. It's about time they got their comeuppance
Waste of time. It's simply not going to happen because of Nintendo
It's not so much the cost, but the fact you cannot use it. They should offer something in good will. How many of your ISPs would get away with bad service like this?
I thought the Xbox360 pad used bluetooth as well, but on a different frequency?
The issue with VLC is that it's opensource. Now that isn't a problem in itself, the problem lies again, within licensing. Because it's a free project, they haven't gone to the individual vendors and asked if they can implement their decoders. Basically VLC infringes a lot of IP/copyright/patents, but nobody does anything about it because there isn't a single person who you could sue, and even if you could, it would be worthless moneywise. The other reason they get away with it, and this w...
The Wii's online service has a 40% rate too, however I think it's more of a case of what type of service it is, rather than the cost
