Nah, I was just answering to the comment. I don't see a weather-system coming to this Forza but you never know.

Rather something with clouds, seeing as it is a weather system they are talking about!

Not with Drivatar. You can not seriously praise the magic cloud for storing driving-profiles of your buddies and distributing them to your console. The profile will be recorded on your X-Box (even if offline) and uploaded to the cloud. Then other X-Boxes will download this profile and interpret it on your X-Box. It is nothing but a glorified savegame-cloud. Now with Titanfall I am not sure what they are doing. Have they given any details?

Don't get me wrong, there are coo...

All we know about the amazing X-Box-Cloud-Features is match-making, using them as dedicated servers, and storing and retrieving data (drivatar is nothing more). All of this is already done now on 360 and ps3 even more so (It's just not named cloud and most probably not in a unified system as will be next gen). The same will be done on ps4. The somewhat cool thing about the cloud is that there is one infrastructure that hosts dedicated servers for any game, so they don't have to shut d...

I skipped Most Wanted and The Run, so I am good for a new Need for Speed. Visually it looks pretty nice. I will check it out at GamesCom and if the driving is nice I'll probably buy it. All I really want is something like Burnout Paradise 2. Doesn't seem to far from it.

I think he might mean that community created character from that contest recently.

Lily is free to play from the get go.

As far as I am concerned there are too few maps. It's great to know the maps very well and be able to use all their features but there certainly need to be more maps. Also the meta-game surrounding the mp is way to superficial.

At least the map-problem should be taken care of with dlc.

"Tom Clancy's The Division coming in late 2013" - no it's not!

I understand that, but seriously which TV today only makes 60Hz. Most do 240Hz or even more, and they usually support a multiple of 24, so 48 Frames really shouldn't be much of a problem. and if you have an old-ass-TV then the game runs at 30fps. Shouldn't be too hard to do. Lots of European tvs support a multiple of 50, so 50 would also be an option.

I don't understand how Open World would be the most important decision for any game upfront. Certainly Minesweeper Open World would be awesome!

I think that especially SSM have a track record of very cinematic story driven games and open world always tends to water that down. It's kind of detrimental to a strong story-telling to have the player run around for hours on end doing whatever.

While I really love open worlds as in Assassin'S creed, i mu...

I'm actually pretty ok with 30fps if they are rock-solid. I prefer the better graphics to the additional 30fps, although i still son'T understand why we don't have something inbetween... like 48fps (24x2).. or why we can'T just poll the controller twice per single frame rendered...

SPOILER:

It's just an interpretation. A valid one mind you, but she could also have been trying to say 'He wanted to slaughter me' and 'eat me' (for dinner, you know?). The almost-slaughtering-scene isn't more than an hour ago in game-time at that point. He could also 'just' be a sadist. After all he enjoyed the torturing part and mind tricks.

I really saw him more of a torturer than a pedophile, but there are various indices t...

It's because a follow-up would have to exlain what happened after part one and the strength and impact of the ending comes from it's openness. Thus a follow-up will make the ending weaker. Maybe they can find a way to make it work but I can't see how. Maybee if you would play Ellie 10 years later and the game slowly fills in some informations about the gap but never all.

They said 'that journey is complete' leaving it open for a sequel, although i wholeheartedly agree there shouldn't be a direct sequel with those characters.

I woudn't have bought it and am from the EU. I'm pretty sure it was a free dowload.

In quick games, especially in shooter and racing games frame rat eis crucial because it is linked to input polling and if you need to react fast you can't wair for 10 frames to pass before your actions are on screen. Having said that I'm personally fine with ultra-reliable 30 frames. Especially with modern motion blur effects I think 60 fps is nice but overrated. I also never quite understood why they can't poll the controller twice per frame, or why they can't have 50 frames,...
