I liked Ascension a lot more than GoWIII. It was more in line with the original GoW I and II. In III you were running from boss to boss and Kratos didn't realize after killing every god that he didn't need 'the power to kill a god' from Pandoras Box. That was lazy story writing if ever I saw one and that after the amazing firt 2 parts and Ghost of Sparta.
But it only releases for Devs right now. Consumer-Version will probably not be out for a while. Simultaneously with next gen consoles would be great obviously...
I'm pretty sure it's not gonna look like that - not even close. Since PS4/NextGen seems more like an afterthough I don't think it will be heavily optimized for new tech. The screens look great, just not that inFamous-great. I will be very happy if it looked a little better than AC3 with silky-smooth-framerate, better antialiasing, vastly improved shadows and better draw distance. Everything above that would be a great bonus: better foilage, better water, better hair, better cloth-...
Also no Uncharted and no WipeOut. I don't even like WipeOut but compared to some on the list it's much better. I also really didn't like Gravity Rush but it makes perfect sense on a list like that because a lot of people actually loved it.
The problem with the list is that it claims to have the ten best games on VITA when it really has the 10 games the author likes best. If it was titled accordingly there wouldn't be any reason to challenge it. Claiming that ...
While I totally agree that the DualShock is the better layout, the 'hands are symetric' argument actually supports the X-Box-Controller as you are mostly using one thumb to hammer on the action buttons (X/O/Triangle/Square), the other thumb is on the left stick and thus lower than the right thumb. The only time the position is symmetrical is when using both sticks to navigate/look around etc..
But for me the Dualshock is still the most comfortable controller. I guess it reall...
Wii released in 2006. The following is a video showing SONY working on MOVE-like tech in 2001.

It's okay to bitch around and say x stole from y but get the order right!
******
EDIT: And yet you claim it was stolen by SONY from Nintendo. I think 5 years in advancement and bringing out EyeToy way before the Wii at least strongly su...
I said that even before the PS4 conference. I am a SONY-buyer, just because the games there are more suited to my tastes. What I said before the SONY reveal was that the only thing that could make me not buy a PS4 is if they turned it into a Move-Device and the only thing that would make me buy a X-Box would be if they had an exclusive Oculus deal. In that case I would buy an X-Box without hesitation. Secretely of course, I was hoping SONY would bring the Oculus deal and I still kind of am fo...
If you have bought digital psp titles you don't have to pay for them again. I Bet you would also not have bought a cd-player because it didn't play the old vinyls you still had, right? In the end both play music.
SUre but so far the simple PSN-App hasn't made it to win-phone or has it? Still an Win6.5 owner, but my Lumia920 is on the way.
Stupid article is stupid.
Please give us a Win8-Phone-App too!
If you think the PS3 can output this graphic you are delusional.
How official do you want it? Check out the GameTrailers Post-Show-Event and see the same guy who demoed it on stage confirm that it ran on a PC with similar specs than the PS4 will be. It's not like the PC isn't able to display PlayStation-Icons.
The guy who demoed it confirmed it was running on a PS4-like-specced PC. I don't think it's a biggie, but I thought I post it in a civil mannor before the haters gonna start a flame-war.
No, I'm not worried either. They said it runs on PS4 but specs are still changing so it's probably not optimized yet. I think it will probably look even better in the end.
The demo ran from a PC, so it isn't really representative for the final game. Even if it was running on a PS4 it wouldn't say much. There are still a couple of months left.
It was just revealed in the post-show that the demo ran on a pc. Doesn't really worry me, but still a bit sad.
Heavenly Sword 2 - Bring it on!
How would that sensor improve anything? With a decent sound setup the sound comes from all the right positions anyway and turning my head means changing the orientation to the original speakers and thus the source of audio, creating a 3D-effect. Seems redundant to me. Makes sense if you connect a portable device (like pictured on the patent drawing) to a surround sound-system, but otherwise I don't get it. Could someone explain?
For me the question is rather 'What must go wrong so I don't buy a PS4 at release'. I know great games will come sooner ot later and I have a huge PS3-backlog, so even if the PS4 has no (or very few) games in the beginning I'd still buy it in a heartbeat. Now, what could go wrong: 1000+€ price point, totally abandoning the dual shock and going Move only.. I don't know... all really crazy stuff that I am is not happening... so I'm definately getting in line on day 1.
No, it didn't. (The PC - the TV most certainly did (when hooked up to a C64))
