It's a cross-buy title, which is great for me and if you liked the original this doesn't dissapoint. However, the nostalgia only carries over into the first 5-6 levels then it gets really old really fast. Still, for a level every now and this it is kind of nice.
Don't be fooled by the picture in the article though. The 8 bucks do not include the (terrible) 3D-remake. They include only the classc version in 2 editions and with 3 level packs, each playable in class...
Trainer have always been for people who can't beat the game by themselves. I personally don't see the point in playing a game with cheats. One can as well watch the gameplay on youtube then.
I would understand it if you were forced to buy this stuff but you are absolutely not.
Probably a gazillion and I will be their leader, or not. I'm not that into hierarchies, but I will certainly be among them should said scenario apply. What a sad day that would be.
Actually I(!) think the third part disappointed heavily. Sure they had great graphic, sound and epic fights, but the story was terrible. Even the PSP-parts had much better story. The story in GoW3 didn't make a lot of sense.
I just hope they didn't only spend time with improving the technicalities but returned to a great tragic (and logic) story.
It's very much a matter of taste. I very much enjoyed Golden Abyss and while graphically not as great as the PS3 versions I think it can really hold it's own gameplay-wise. Personally I think that the big versions get better and better graphically but unfortunately the writing gets weaker and introduces more and more logic holes and stupidities.
The only really annoying thing about Golden Abyss was the 'hold it to the light'-gimmick that apparently needs the sun to be ...
I am with him in that it does not need a comeback. It certainly needs to gain momentum, but it is not as if it was once great then tumbled into oblivion and should now return to old strength. The situation is slowly (very very slowly) improving, but there hasn't been a place to which it could come 'back' to.
The Devs said that there is no reason for her to swim as in no lake, no river, no ocean... i doubt that they would give you plenty of water and then let her drown on contact as many other game heroes do. If there is plenty of water and crossing it would make sense in context it would really be dumb but that remains to be seen.
The demo exuse is really lame though. I played it at GamesCom and I don't think they have reason to hide.
Why do you need 9 dimensions for time travel? Is that a reference to som pop culture phenomenon that I don't get? Fill me in please.
My days of not taking you seriously have certainly come to a middle!
Sorry, I just wanted to put that quote in here. A Firefly MMO would certainly be shiny!
At least I didn't need to throw an insult at you. For me the store doesn't always show what I am looking for, even when I know it is there. A lot of people have the same problem. It's great when it's working for you but it certainly isn't for me. It has nothing to do with being a 'whiner'. The new store is just plain broken for me. In the end you are also going to tell me the stores animations are smooth.
Vastly improved as in 'less results to go through since it doesn't find half the things that should match my search'?
I only use the webstore now and then download from the purchased-list. This one is actually usable: https://store.sonyentertain...
I see what you mean with the XMB but still if you wanted to start your top apps you would have to swipe quite a number of times, while right now I have all my most used on the top screen ans can access them at once. Then I have three more pages full games, then demos, social and so on... I think it is pretty nice as far as accessibility goes. Just to think I would have to swipe to different areas to access the store, the trophies, the current game... blargh. What they could and should do, ist...
I suppose if you were online full time your battery wouldn't last as long as it does. Still I agree that the constant re-connect is annoying and should be solved better. Since last update the trophies sync in the background, so maybe they realized that the constant loading bars are annoying.
As far as the XMB goes, I think it is very overrated. It is functional but far from pretty. I hope they improve it a lot for the next big PS. The VITA interface, for me, is fine the way it is....
Since the last firmware update I often find the screen saying that the update for xyz has been downloaded. I still have to install them then, but the download happens automatically for PSN+ users.
Right, they obviously spend some decent money for a good artist on it, so why get it right? Actually while I don't think it's that big of a deal, I think it is more justified to write about it than it is to mock the people who write about it. 'C'mon, it's Kotaku, it doesn't have to be perfect'. Also nice: 'C'mon, it's just a game, the story doesn't have to make sense.' 'C'mon it's just an appendectomy, the resulting scar doesn't ...
From the amount of people that have that glitch it almost seems a certainty taht one would get it. I finished the story luckily before it all went down the drain. Unfortunately I enjoyed running around and doing side quests and collectibles more that the story. For me it happened after I unlocked a special costume when I had a set of collectibles complete. Since that seems to be the moment for a lot of people I suggest collecting all but the last item of a set until a patch is out. Unfortunat...
Looks more like the rumored MP-DLC for Golden Abyss. Some people even got one of these cards dirctly while playing Golden Abyss. A bug back then but obviously reality now. I just hope it is a standalone title. Not that it drags down my 100%-Golden Abyss-Trophy set.
I couldn't care less for CoD but I am really looking forward to Killzone-VITA and will be disappointed if it turnes out bad.
I think there were 'no' FPS on the PSP because the single-analogue-stick architecture made it a bit difficult to get a good one onto the system. It's a whole other story with the VITA.
The aligator egg thing is probably not even a tracking bug but a display 'bug'. In the activity log it shows the amount in percent but doesn't say so. I was just as confused at first. This ist true for everything: Pages, Dolls, Eggs, even tower-syncs.
I really don't believe that. Right now the official developer price is $300 with 'only' a shared 1280x800-Display, that is 640x800 Pixel per eye. They plan to improve it for the retail version which will up the price a bit, plus they have no competition whatsoever. I believe they will end up selling it at $500. They will want to make some money from it. It will still be cheap for what it offers. I just hope next gen consoles will be compatible with it. I'm kind of glad now tha...
