If you want to play it this way, buy the Killzone bundle. It gives you a console, a camera, a second controller and a game for 499. Even if you ignore the difference in performance you get more for the same amount, but I bet that in this case the kinect is worth triple, right?
Yeah, I totally hate it that I have to sign an NDA for every game and piece of hardware I buy. That dude is a consumer, not a reviewer or retailer. MS should have taken action against target but the guy never agreed to any NDA. He bought something and used it anyone would. Not his fault at all. Also his informations helped MS. He did better publicity work than they ever have. But they kinda fixed it and gave it the neccessary negative MS-spin.
The problem is that 2TB drives are all 15mm in height (except the one from the article obviously). The drive from the article is not yet available... probably February, March 2014. So the highest available from the get go will be 1.5TB. And thus 1TB Hybrid gets interesting... Ah, well... maybe I will swap the drive in early 2014. Need to shell out a ton of money on end of November already anyway.
Thanx. Maybe I didn't find 7.200-drives because I wasn't looking under 1.5TB. If I am going 1TB I will definately go Hybrid.
I couldn't really find any 7.200RPM 2.5" drives anyway. SSD should run coolest but it's pretty pricey if you want to go big, so pure SSD is out of the question for me. It pretty much looks like 1TB Hybrid for me.
I know. Thanks to cloud saves I don't think I will actually need a clone. I will probably just re-download, but I would really like to switch the drive early on and be done with it. I really want faster performance AND more speed :). Will probably throw a coin or something... until it lands on hybrid...
I didn't really find any 7.400rpm notebook drives. I am still uncertain wether I go 1TB Hybrid or 2TB regular... damn... time is running out...

In Germany Amazon also writes that the bundle will be later and that they don'T have an official date available. Sadly!

It's called an example. Don't pretend like Uncharted is the only game exclusive to consoles. Also I specifically said that there are genres where you are better of if you own a PC. I didn't even say that consoles are better, because it would be stupid to say so. I just said that it makes no sense to say 'look, StarCraft 2 ist only 40$ on PC whereras console-title X (so that you can't say I am talking about that one game only) is 60$ on console, therefore PC gaming is cheap...

If you are into first person shooters you really can go either way. If you are into RTS you are better of with pc... I never got why they woudln't include rear-USB but then go on and sell dongles for Buzz and Singstar. So ugly having the cables on the front. They even had back-USB on the early-PS3-images before release...

As thin as Ascension's story was at least it made sense. While GoWIII was more intense in the area of boss fights it did not make a whole lot of sense and was a real bad ending to a great trilogy (not because he dies - that was the only logical thing to happen - that his corpse was gone again was pretty cheap though). GoWII was the best part for me. Actually I even liked Ghost of Sparta better than GoWIII. Ascension and GoWI would be about the same for me, and I would rate GoWIII in last...
Well the graphics-calculating stuff isn't there yet, but a framework that guarantees dedicated servers to every game is great as is the fact that old games need not lose online support. If a server is needed the cloud instantiates one. There are lots of cool things a cloud can do. The problem is just the way MS tried to sell it as a thing that could automagically improve every games graphics...

They advertize the ability of their system. Nowhere do they write 'only on PlayStation' or 'unlike on X-Box'. There is no taunting to be found except in the minds of those who are hurt by their choice in console. Just because a competitor has a weaker product you are not allowed to advertize your own product. That'S just weird thinking.
PS3 also supported DLNA and MP3... so there is that...
