Why have an expensive tv with a great image plus a projector with crappy visuals surrounding it when you can just get a projector and have a huge beautiful projected image and no tv? While it's nice to see the dev pushing this tech forward, the biggest improvement for Beyond will come from the inclusion of big name high quality actors. Ellen Page is really great!

Sony could market it as 'FORWARD COMPATIBILITY' and make everyone forget all about lack of backward compatibility. The marketing slogan could be "THINK FORWARD" or something like that :-)

I think this would work really well for the first year or two; to help with the early transition to ps4.
As a feature,'upwards compatibility'is actually something I want much more than backwards compatibility.
Thought about it some more and think my idea is the equivalent of offering a sort of UPWARDS COMPATIBILITY for ps3 owners.
A program like this would not help day one ps4 buyers or people who have both systems. I actually plan on getting a launch system and of course keeping my ps3s so something like this would not help me at all! What's the point of a ps3 version of a game I can play on my ps4 after all.

I think they would have to make just one version or the ps4 version comes with a download code for the ps3 version or something. Multiple skus or more expensive skus would not sell imo, at least not much.

People are just eager for info already. Especially the press. But waiting, even until e3, wont hurt them a bit.
It's what they actually announce that will help or hurt them, PERIOD! How much is it? How powerful is it? What software is in dev? Does it have any stand out features that are a must have? etc..etc..

given the wii u's current state I could see how u guys saw my comment as an attack but the truth is it's way too early to have a best of list for the Wii U. also I own every single home console ever made by nintendo and will get a Wii U when they release a new Metroid or Mario Galaxy :)

So many great games this gen it's hard to choose.
I'd go with Portal 2 or Uncharted 2 based on presentation, quality of dialog, intelligence of level design, game play, and overall immersiveness.
