Regarding the kinect; if including it with every system means lower specs, inferior ports (from a technical level) and an extra $100 on the price tag, then why aren't Microsoft trying to leverage the damned thing at all? IMO lower game specs suck, but they might be mitigated by you know, actually using the kinect to enhance games somehow!

I honestly enjoyed Killzone 2 much more than 3 or shadow fall. IMO, aside from the name, these games are so different from each other in how they play they might as well be different IPs.
I don't know why Guerrilla moved so far away from killzone 2's core mechanic, because they had something great there.

So let get this straight?
The guy downloads the day 1 patch, which worked obviously or he wouldn't have been able to use the system at all and post the videos he did; plus we know the system will not work until the patch is downloaded from others who got the system early.
So he posts videos of his system working online on their store and Microsoft bans his system, and now the banned system can not play online or offline games and is basically bricked.
What a load of crap!
The quality and diversity of games on PS4 at launch is crazy compared to prior generations. It's way way way better!
Exclusives wise you have resogun, shadow fall, contrast, and the witness right off the bat. Each of these looks amazing in their own right and should take me up until Christmas easy.

As much as I'd love sequels to both Uncharted and The Last of US, I'd much rather see new IP's from them. They are such a talented team, it seems better to let them flex their creative muscles with original/unique IP's. Let Sony's smaller up and coming studios do the sequels under their supervision.

Hope the narration in this ad is not an indicator of the story telling in the game! Seriously, that was so poorly written and narrated it makes my head hurt. That said, the actual story rarely matters in games like this (99% of games have shit stories really so...)

If you want a device built from the ground up for gaming, that also does other stuff (like browse the internet), something like a ps4 with browser, mouse, and keyboard functionality is cheaper and therefore more accessible than a $1000 steam box. You can have all the internet/streaming/entertainme nt app stuff for much much less.
