I wonder how many have gotten a 3DTV. Anyone gotten one here yet? They haven't been released here yet. I'd love to get one if I had the $$.

Its certainly gonna be interesting come E3. But I must admit, if there is a new 'slim' 360, they have done a hellava good job keeping it under wraps. That aint easy to do this day and age.

I actually like it, I think the current art looks boring. The extra color gives it more flair. But I think this is definitely tailoring to a younger crowd. I still prefer the slick modern PS3 cases though.

Wow thats a blast from the past. Man, I would love to try out that game again.

@Dredgewalker
I still think they do. Predominately for nostalgia reason. But hey I still love playing them.

Capcom vs SNK would be awesome. I can never get enough of the cross brand fighting games.

Well I consider myself pretty unbiased towards any of the consoles, but honestly, Greenberg has really appeared on my radar as being quite a stirrer. Yes, i've heard some pretty bad stuff come from the other companies (thats how businesses are), but Greenberg (and I don't mean ALL MS employees) just seems to have that special aura of douchebaggery. His comments come across more as flamebait rather than an honest company ego inflation.

EDIT: Gamer2010, please, if simp...

I personally know several 'hardcore' gamers who still use their PS2's, myself included. I still love giving FF:X, GTA:SA, GT4 (etc) a run from time to time. And in a monetary aspect, 'hardcore' are not the only ones that count. Many casual gamers still purchase the PS2 because its cheap, got a great catalogue, and familiar. I think the PS2 could still be considered a 'current' console.

And in regards to the new PS4...well who knows? But I honestly...

I might finally re-purchase one if the price is right (My first one was sold). They really should get a wireless adapter built in though, the add-0n is just too pricey. I'd love to give Alan Wake and Reach a run.

wow, ignorance is bliss, no? You should go back to the bridge from whence you came.

I personally love both of them, but honestly they're waaaaay too different to compare. For a quick brutal and visceral experience, i'd go GOWIII. For a longer, story driven, if not a little repetitive game, go RDR. But if you can, get the both of them.

That's actually pretty true...pimping out the girlfriend to the hungry nerdy mob. LOL. Hilarious my friend.

While I find the whole 'paying to play with a girl online' to be utterly sad and pathetic, couldn't posting a video for a paid service be illegal? Wouldn't there be some kind of confidentially thing attached to it? Don't get me wrong, I think it would be hilarious to watch, but I was just curious.

Couldn't say it better myself. They are definitely better when it comes to PC. But yeah, I cant see either why they would purposely offend an entire consumer base, it cant do anything but harm them.

EDIT: I also agree that Portal can be pretty boring at times.

Because 3DTV is being targeted at mainstream consumers not just gamers. Why wait for E3 to show off 3DTV when many adopters wont even be aware of or care for, E3. Especially with the World Cup being televised in 3D, Sony would want to capitalise on that early, rather than waiting.

Because that's how people are. People speculate on everything. I didn't think there would be anything but people like to incite rumour.

My easy favourite so far is the Deus Ex 3 trailer. I love the cyberpunk score, the Blade Runner inspired setting, the renaissance era color scheme, and the amazing CG. Its great how they tell a great mini narrative in the space of a few minutes. I hope the finished product lives up to it. On a side note, I cant help but feel this would make a better 3rd person shooter than a 1st person. I know the original was 1st person, but I just 'feel' it would be better changed :P

I rather enjoyed Portal. Left 4 Dead was fun if not slightly overrated. And Half Life is legendary and deserves all the praise it received. This makes it even more of a shame that some real ignorant people run the company, some of the guys need to learn diplomacy. I'm not overly worried that they don't develop for the PS3 (with some exceptions), but their reasons are really quite weak and sound ignorant.

NBA Live has been falling further and further behind 2K in terms of quality of product. The re-branding is an obvious move to regain some of that ground lost to 2K. I think its interesting that a lot of the critical insight shown at the beginning at the video are also thinly veiled attacks on the 2K product, as those are similar gripes that people had with NBA2k.

Oh well, looks like 2K is completely ready for this new approach by garnering the services of Michael Jordan an...

I think there are several reasons why it was successful 'other' than the advertising. Consumer confidence in the developers (R*) is certainly a major, and so is its relationship with GTAIV. Another reason would be the fact that it (the western) is something new and relatively untried, thus a lot of interested consumers. Pre-release hype, word of mouth, good review scores are several more reasons.

But yes, the subject of its advertising is certainly interesting. Not ...
