Sorry, I didn't actually read the article because I'm not really interested in Zune. I guess it sounds like I should have said that the title of this article is premature.
The presentation wasn't necessarily better on the 360, it just lost points on the ps3 for not improving given the extra development time and the feedback to the 360 version. Released simultaneously, the two games would have gotten the same presentation scores.
But besides that they're largely the same. Only big difference was controls.
#7 is probably the first statement you've made that I agree with 100%.
As to your question, yes the Wii version does require the motion controls, but the Gamecube doesn't. The controls aren't that big of a deal, most are simple twitches of the controller. The most intensive parts are fishing and the bow and arrow. I think the Wii controls look awesome, and I'm so psyched for Zelda.

I read on IGN that NBA 2k7 is better on the ps3. Blanket assessments like "everygame is better on x system" just won't hold up. Eventually it comes down to developers putting in the time to make each game as good as possible.

I did buy my Nano because I wanted the iPod name instead of having another lower priced mp3 player. I think it will be harder for MS to penetrate the mp3 market because I think brand recognition is a bigger player in it. iPod is basically synonomous with mp3 players, and it will take a while for any product to change that. This article is definitely premature.

One of the SPEs is dedicated to the OS, so the devs don't have to worry about the OS taking some of the other SPEs or the PPU at any time. This leaves 6 SPEs and the PPU for games.
Sorry, but my post was also mocking people who bashed Gears for 8 player online, as well as you for mocking Resistance. You'll see my first comment on comparing genres at random also applies to the whole Gears vs Resistance thing. However, I should have been more clear on my intentions on that one.

Gears 8 ppl online? When you know it must obviously suck because you can have many more than that in other games?
It depended on the game, but a lot of the reviews on IGN said it was gimmicky. However, IGN did say that the ps3 nba 2k7 was the best version available because of the sixaxis controls, and the Resistance sixasis controls got positive comments. It all depends on the ability of the developers to implement it in a good way.
That's odd. I'd heard this guy talk before and he seemed pretty reasonable. He said that the ps3 would get 38%, wii 32%, and 360 30% but he wouldn't be surprised if the ps3 and 360 were reversed.
He also said bluray would be the winner because in Christmas 07 it would still have the most studio support and the ps3 was a great distribution vector so stores like Walmart would be stocking bluray movies and not hddvd so they could have more space for regular dvds.

WOW, that sounds awesome! I hope they can achieve what they want, because it sounds very ambitious. I'm also glad that the title is coming to the pc again this time around.
What about Guitar Hero 2. The original got a bunch of runner ups last year, and the sequel is much better. The thing going against that is the lack of novelty this time around though.
