It's too bad that your experiences have been limited to unhappy people. :(
Each new update invalidates these cracks. People will forget, will update, and will render their cards useless.
No consequences for poor behavior.
IRL, you get arrested or shunned for the behavior exhibited online.
You don't think the Japanese are neurotic? Go there. Learn.
What's more mature?
1) Playing games aimed at kids that happen to have great gameplay
2) Drowning in buckets of simulated blood while screaming obscenities at people.
......?
Yes, I'm sure your reduction in bubbles was someone else's fault.
SMB 3.
'Nuff said.
@Bolts
I want to game on the go. I don't mind what you are describing being ADDED to the market. But if that means the end of quality mobile gaming, I'm out.
Not all of us want to game in the way you are describing.
The future? Certainly. Nothing you have said is illogical or unlikely. But you're also pretending that other forms of gaming are inferior or not worth preserving. You're acting like the typical gamer that only...
The exact same argument was given a decade ago.
What you are saying is possible, but it has to be at a price point that people will latch unto. And that hasn't happened.
If you think the lack of good controls is a "minor" issue, I challenge you to play practically any iOS game that requires precision control in any moving vehicle. It is nigh impossible. If you claim that you can do it, your next task is to realize how uncommon your abilities ...
Are you getting more streetpasses though? I stopped by two Nintendo zone locations today in a very busy urban area on my way home and did not get any tags. I mean., its possible that no one had passed through besides me, or that the service isn't quite active yet, but it seemed like I should have got some hits.
This is quicker than first reported.
Some authors have trouble staying on topic and instead focus on anything they find controversial and want to talk about. Of course, since they didn't go to journalism school, they can't write or report worth a damn.
The truth is probably that he just tried to put as much controversy as he could in the article because....ummmm...controversy ...."sells" free papers? LOL
kB0 is the ghost username of the actual author, trying to get reactions from his troll "article".
And Nintendo requires updates to play some of the top recent releases.
I don't understand people's fascination with crappy ROMs. Especially if it prevents them from playing first party releases due to firmware restrictions.
Way to defend enabler logic.
That is how the worst sort of arm-chair quarterbacks look at situations.
They see something bad happen, and rather than trying to understand what happened, they take the "holier than thou" route and claim that the unpredictable should have been predicted. And if you didn't predict the unpredictable, its your own fault.
Game/movie/music. It doesn't matter. This whole problem exists because we live in a culture where two things have happened:
1) People refuse to acknowledge true expertise.
2) People think a lack of expertise is ok if you want to do something professionally.
Hence, anyone with a passion for games can become a game "journalist", despite the fact that they may have no expertise in journalism.
Gaming websites are ...
I think natural disasters are different enough from "business as usual" to allow a little more slack.
Why should we presume to know what's best for a company? You're not even remotely close to having inside information, yet like a typical fan/anti-fan, you think YOU know what is best.
This very well could be a huge error on Nintendo's part. But neither you, nor I, know that for sure. Given that, the only sensible confusion is to keep one's mind open, and not just assume that its "Big Evil Corporation trying to ruin my gaming life".
Ick. Good luck. I hate glitches.
Exactly. Entitled game fans have grown up thinking they shouldn't have to pay for a product. Demos are intended to give you some basic information, not be an experience in of themselves.
Have any of you guys actually PLAYED any of the 3DS demos? With a few exceptions they're boring as crap. Playing many of them 30 times would just be SAD.
I just played the Mario and Luigi RPG demo. It was a fun demo. I couldn't imagine playing it more than ...
