I don't think so. But if you're going to give any company 50 bucks for a 3DS game, Atlus would be the ones.
All of this has been confirmed in Nintendo's Facebook post about the offer. I was on the fence about SMT, but now I have no excuse.
It isn't "as simple as that" Matt. That's what you don't understand. You are viewing this issue with a "no consequences to business" viewpoint. You don't understand the costs involved with marketing to a larger audience.
The gamer audience willing to play a game in a language they don't speak is very small. If you are a marketer at a game company, you don't unlock everything and just expect that the money spent in producing, shi...
What you interpret as "taking up the ass", I interpret as keeping costs down and living within the options available. I encourage you to join a region-free company, learn a few languages, and begin translating every game they produce into every language you just learned. And then deal with the backlash from other gamers when your translations aren't perfect. You might change your tune.
But hey, its easier to remain ignorant of the production of games, assume ...
No kidding. Movies have been region-locked for decades. None of you seem to be complaining about that, and there are tons of market-specific versions of movies out there that you can't access without getting a PAL DVD/Blu Ray player. Most of your electrical appliances are "region-locked" without an adapter to other country's electrical systems. Do you all not know this, or are you simply content to live with it? Its a marketing strategy that is not new with video game...
*Why what I personally like (or don't like) should be the business policy of a corporation
Fixed.

The Vita has games? I still go into stores and don't see anything.
Its not like the Club physical rewards are that valuable anyway.
Atlus is my favorite publisher. Its good to see that the parent filing isn't necessarily an indication of their health.
Nintendo fans and haters complain that Nintendo doesn't develop enough games.
When they take steps to develop more games, Nintendo fans and haters complain about how they're doing it.

They already have access to online without mics or chat off.
They just happen to be on IPs that you don't like.
I mean, that's the real issue here, isn't it? Saying that Nintendo doesn't have online is just just completely incorrect.
Kid Icarus Uprising
Resident Evil Revelations
Animal Crossing
You just don't like those IPs. Right?
Nintendo sees itself as a toy company and a business.
They don't extend into online coop too much because, as a family-based company, they don't want to be associated with the profanity and excessive bullying that happens online on the other systems. Heck, that's why I don't support other systems. I work too hard to have some 12 year old jag-off insult me online. They are cesspools of the worst of humanity. I don't want to be associated with that.
These are actually pretty lame tips.
Beetles are the most cost effective money maker on the island, not sharks. Beetles spawn a lot quicker at their peak times than sharks.

I realize that this was first suggested LAST E3, but at least the rumour isn't going away.
Possible unified account system before the end of the year, according to sources at E3.
Well, the good news is they got it up on youtube pretty quick.
Here's the link for anyone who was struggling...

You all realize that you can change the quality of the stream if your connection can't handle the best quality....apparently not.
I'm hoping for extensive online functionality and cross-platform functionality between 3DS and WiiU.
Or you can just eSHOP it. I realize not everyone likes that option. But while many of you are struggling to find copies of niche games and whining about it, the rest of us are playing them...and we haven't had any problems with digital. We don't live our gaming lives by "what if X happens..."
