Hey, look, an article from 2010!
I run a Game Club at my school. I have for 11 years now. I wish more schools had game clubs.
Hey look! An article from 2009!
So, its not four different aspects. Its one thing, done four different ways. Misleading. Pretty sure that if you don;t love the first one, the next three aren't going to change your mind.
Its like saying: 567 things to love about spaghetti! And each one is a different piece of pasta.
Article wasn't bad. What bothers me about it is that what a lot of Nintendo "outsiders" don't understand is that they are not Nintendo's target demographic anyway. Nintendo games sell just fine to Nintendo fans. So, there is an inherent bias in this argument that an outsiders "values" should be incorporated to "fix" Nintendo. In other words, it devolves into a "become more like iOS/Steam/Microsoft/Sony!" ; argument, and that may end up rui...
Everly is right: that is the current limitation. Although, if your games are registered on Club Nintendo AND you have a NNID, they CAN recover anything registered, but it is a long process.
Its target demographic is not YOU. That is what you find wrong with Nintendo.
"A newly released App Annie study..."
LOL
ROTFL
ROTFLMFAO
If the WiiU is dead, by your measure so must be the PS Vita...right?
This article is precisely why the internet is terrible.
The Bravely Default demo has a lot of problems, chief of which being that it doesn't tell you how to do anything. I'm all for exploring and figuring stuff out as you go. But the problem with this is while that is a-ok for experienced RPG gamers, the average player is going to be turned off. More sales equals a sequel localization and this demo may very well scare the audience needed to push sales over the top....
Why aren't any of the other Final Fantasy clones called Final Fantasy?
It isn't called Final Fantasy. Get over it already. I'm sick of this dialogue. Just enjoy another JRPG.
It does not have games. In classic Sony fashion it has a very narrow set of game genres covered. I'd buy one if they made a game in a genre I like.
I don't see it on my Club Nintendo...they must have pulled it...
Yesterday an article releases claiming a "slide out" version of the 3DS. Today, a tablet.
It is too early to confirm anything. This is all just click bait.
I dream of a future when internet content is written by actual journalists with actual skills.
Different markets. Its like saying that toasters are killing the blender industry and the blender industry is dead because people buy more toasters. They're both kitchen appliances. True. But not everyone likes to blend things or make toast.
If you buy a tablet or smart phone ONLY to play games, you're a moron.
Does it really matter who features in your platformer?
Does it really matter who the hero or heroine of a standard action adventure game is?
Don't get me wrong, those are great games. But all they are is different skins pasted over classic game play formulas.
""Nintendo is minting money on its handheld console, milking old franchises with repetitive, formulaic sequels that improve graphics and introduce some new mechanics, but essentially recycle themes from past decades. "
So, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo and the other FPS' that dominate other companies platforms AREN'T formulaic games that improve slightly on graphics and introduce some new mechanics, but recycling old themes?
This is a...
"It’s a pretty pointless feature, and you can get the coins by putting your 3DS into sleep mode for eight hours at a time anyway (if your battery will last that long), but still, it's an entirely unwelcome addition. "
Does the author realize that you can put your 3DS in sleep mode...with it PLUGGED IN...while you sleep?
The whole article reads like someone who has either never played an RPG before, or is simply terrible at them.
Does this bring the piece total to 1000? Is that the end of puzzles, do you think?
