It will most likely be brought in an update. I would suggest that at this point they are prioritizing work on their API and making it easier for developers to use the Esram along with getting ready for launch on the 22nd.

Those F@$*ing M$ bastards. They will never let up! I just knew they had a secret plan to get super secret info on me.

Oh, wait this is Sony. Well there must have a good reason like maybe some super secret plan to save the world using my personal information to enhance the PS4's super powers to make the world a better place.

It will be all okay though because Super Yoshida will don his PS4 cape and swoop in to save the day.

I agree. It would be a great spin off. It could really help drive sales of the game and console.

The answer to that is pretty simple. People happen to like Xbox games and in a lot of cases really like Xbox Live. If people went by your logic then we would still live in caves with bear skin underwear because it does not make sense to attempt to develop agriculture, electricity, cars because it takes time for develop the full capabilities of such items.

Xbox Live was a complete shift in online gaming by only using broadband during a time when dial up was standard. No one...

I agree that the frame rates do not sound good. However they do not claim that this is the final build of the game either. So we really don't know on way or the other whether these issues are going to be resolved before release. Maybe they won't.

The only point I am making is that at the end of the day this is a launch game that started development as a 360 title and was switched to a launch title. This will inevitably lead to it not being optimized for the Xbox O...

This is just another site plastering old shit on their page to get clicks.

Let's be clear on a few items that they seem to ignore.

1. Quote: "Just how much could Microsoft stand to benefit from shedding themselves of the Xbox? Well according to Rick Sherland doing so along with shedding Bing in conjunction with other moves could increase earnings 40%."

This potential 40% increase in earnings is a one time short term gain on cutt...

The frame rate and resolution are related to two factors.

The First is that this game was originally intended for the 360 even if it is not a port the initial development of the game was made under that premise.

The second multiplies the first in that they took something that started development for a last gen console and switch gears mid stream and developed it for a console that they were not as familiar with and is still to this day having tweaks made to...

Just for some clarification as not everyone understands what the position of CEO is and where it fits in a company I will explain it here:

The CEO is the top administrator for the company ensuring it runs the way it is supposed to. Although he may have say in the direction that a company takes he does not have the power to make that determination. That determination is made by the board of directors to whom he reports. So the CEO reports to the Board of Directors. The Boa...

Excellent read. I don't care what anyone says MS is the leader in online game services bar none.

I agree with you about the social aspect of going to the gym for the most part. This is where the social aspect of the Kinect coupled with Xbox Live Gold comes in. People are more comfortable now than ever with socially connecting online and that is really what differentiates this from other at home exercise programs. You can compete and associate with others through this program on Xbox Live Gold.

I am into body building/power lifting so it does nothing for me but I think...

Although this is not really up my alley as I prefer to lift weights in the gym I can see a lot of people liking this option. Does it keep a trend of your progress? It would be a real benefit to those that want to get into shape to see how over time their stamina is increasing, heart rate/bloodpressure is decreasing and even comparing your bodies overall shape if you are so inclined.

In the end it will serve to tip more people in certain demographics to purchase a console wh...

You do not listen. I would defend Sony for doing exactly the same thing.

This guy was not penalized for using his console. He was temporarily banned from accessing the Xbox One Live network. This network was only supposed to be accessible to people authorized to use it. Due to a mistake on Targets part he received a console early and thus was able to access a network that was still under construction. MS or if it had of been a PS4 Sony would be in the right to stop acces...

It was a smart decision simply because of the fact that most people make their decision based on first impressions and could care less about the full details of a product or situation.

If you believe that Sony would allow someone to go around producing footage of unfinished software and systems then you are wrong. Why doesn't Sony allow reviewers capture their own footage of their systems and games without Sony standing over their shoulder approving what can be shown and...

I imagine they will add it down the road. It does not really matter to me either way as I stream all my movies via a HTPC using Plex.

I have a Samsung 55" 8000 series and it is awesome. It came with 4 pairs of 3D glasses and it looks great in 3D. I used to be big on Sony for TV's but their quality has lagged so I did some research on some of the HDTV forums and switched over. I have had two Samsungs over the last 6 years and they were both great. Opinions do vary however just the same as in consoles.

The simple fact of the matter is that it was a smart business decision to do this. It was not a punishment. The are still working on the Xbox One Live network and as he was not an approved person who signed NDA's they did not want him on there.

There is nothing mysterious or some terrible plot here. They do not want him displaying information about the network when it has not been finalized.

Sony would have done the exact same thing.

While you are correct that all those options are available to you I think you have missed the point.

Most people would prefer do those things from one location as opposed to going to their computer for say Skype.

In my case and the case of a lot of other people we have families. This means searching for remote controls which have a nasty habit of being left laying places that take several minutes of searching for. I generally end up searching for remotes ...

This is great IMO. I can't wait to play with some of these features but I am more interested in seeing some of the things that you know the crazy hackers out there are going to come up with now that they will have access to this level of tech in the home.

I buy consoles mainly to play games (both offline and online) but I do not see that this takes anything away from that experience. On the contrary I like that I can get an invite while I am watching a show and decide t...

While I agree that may have been a bad PR choice it is their network. Major Nelson has also confirmed that this person will not be banned permanently. I would expect that on launch day he will be back online.

I think that what he was doing for the launch was positive but at the same time you have to remember that Sony and MS have Billions invested in these consoles and they really don't want to loose control of information about their system. Sony would have done the...
