Oh, I agree with you completely. The potential with the Xbox One is enormous and currently they have a potential lead in China with their media deals.
I love my Xbox One but its potential is far more than what I can currently do with it which is even more exciting.
This is just a guess but I suspect that the AI also serves to provide a bit of campaign still direction to the game.
The AI in this game is not going to be the run of the mill AI that people have become accustomed to.
Bubble up for hilarity.
This will be a hard market to get a hold of but the rewards are pretty staggering. Being basically a new market for consoles this could be a boon for both MS and Sony.
Don't forget that most casual consumers are the same fools who line up outside an Apple store to pay $700 for basically the same damn phone they bought the year before.
Money does not seem to mean much to that crowd and I think that is part of the reason that the Xbox One has sold so well regardless of the $100 premium.
I agree. Keep pumping out games. It looks like they plan to do so, so here is hoping.
The other thing that they need to stay focused on is good updating of the UI and adding new functionality. I don't mind buying a piece of hardware with the promise of it being able to perform more features so long as they keep their word and add those features. MS has a good track record on updates so as long as they keep it up things will continue to look enticing for the core and...
Blow and Fish are both narcissists who absolutely love positive attention and cry foul every time someone disagrees with them or does not like what they are doing. Very similar to a small child who can't eat all of the cookies in the jar. They just run off and have a tantrum.
After the negative feedback that he has gotten from a lot of people on the web telling him what a baby he is I am not surprised to see him wanting to crawl back and get into the good graces of pe...
Similar to Xbot I assume as it is used quite frequently here.
I here galloping. Here come the Sony Ponies.
Seriously though for me it really depends on the level size and how quickly you can traverse the level. I am still stoked for this game. It will be the first blockbuster of the year.
I did not see anything insulting at all except for the fact that they had to stoop to the level of dealing with NeoGaf.
Much bigger? I find that quite unlikely. They should be in a comparable range. There is simply so much hype around TitanFall right now and if you couple that with the fact that many are looking for the next COD I think that people are going to be surprised at the sales that it does.
Does that mean for a monthly fee you can play any game available?
And how in the hell did I get disagrees for saying this could help Vita sales and asking a question?
Truly there are some real tards on N4G.
I agree that both are selling very well and yes the PS4 has currently sold more consoles.
What I am trying to say is that you cannot simply compare the two as they are apples to apples.
Here is the current population of all the countries that each console has been launched in:
Total Population where PS4 is sold = 1.656 Billion.
Total Population where Xbox One is sold = 1.027 Billion.
As far as large populatio...
Looks like this could be a good way to drive poor Vita sales provided they can make it work in the real world.
I would really like to see some real world specs like latency and bandwidth required.
Does anyone know how much they are talking about charging for this service or is it going to be a part of PS+?
ROFL at the disagrees. I knew that most of the people on here were dumb but this really takes the cake. I guess 2+2=5 on N4G.
Here are the facts:
Both consoles are selling very fast.
Both companies are capable of producing about 1 million units per month.
There are more Xbox Ones in stock than there are PS4s.
The Xbox One is being sold in 13 countries.
The PS4 is being sold in 48 countries....
You hit the nail on the head there. I am not really sure that he knows what he is talking about. I have a rig I built myself 6 months ago that cost me $2200 just for the PC. Now I use it for gaming, run it as an HTPC, and also for engineering work. I definitely won't be running out to buy a new steam machine.
Basically they are trying to sell low end gaming rigs to pc gamers who like to build high end gaming rigs. Everyone else buys a console. The whole business mod...
So don't use Windows Media Centre. I don't as I did not like it either although it did support more than Mpeg4.
I use Plex which is a breeze and has apps for nearly every device out there. It auto loads all the metadata for your media files i.e. posters, descriptions, ratings, actors, directors etc. I have over 2200 1080p surround sound movies that I stream all my devices at home or abroad from my HTPC and it works like a charm. There is a small learning curve whe...
@Factual I won't down vote you down as you are correct. I knew this when I bought mine for the kids and myself before Christmas as it has been out for months that it would not support pulling DLNA only pushing it at launch.
@bolbgt Basically the way it works now is that you can push a file from a device to the Xbox One using an intermediary app but you cannot go on the Xbox One at the moment and from the UI or an app in the UI pull a file from your connected device. <...
You are bang on there. I love science fiction and Greg Bear was one of the first Hard SF authors that I read. I have all of his books so I had to pick up his Halo trilogy and it was good. Not as good as some of his Hard Core SF but he did a great job at connecting the dots with Humanity (Reclaimers), the Forerunners, the Flood, the Precursors, and 343 Guilty Spark (who is actually the human Chakas downloaded into Guilty Spark).
It really helped the campaign make sense and ...
"Yeah lets not forget PS4 demand is still much higher then what Sony can supply. While for the Xbone Supply is exceeding the demand you can pick up a Xbone 24/7."
Not here you can't. I tried to get a second Xbox One yesterday and every store in my city is completely out with no idea when they are going to get more. I had figured it would be easy to get one due to the fact that Christmas was over but it was anything but. I went to Future Shop, Best Buy, Costco...
Mine will do the same thing. I have my STB connected to the Xbox One so watching TV is not an issue but I also have a PS3, WiiU, and 360 connected to the other HDMI ports on my TV.
It is not really an issue though as I don't generally say Xbox on when I am playing another console.
The easiest way around this is to not turn your Xbox One off. That way you just have to switch the input on your TV when you want to use the Xbox One. It is either that or ...
