Point on the memory thing is that you have much more info to compare that memory to now than you did long ago. Doesn't mean your memory previously was wrong just that it was valid at that time and compared to modern games simply loses some appeal.

Point being no game has been owned by even half of the Playstation base because no single game has sold that much. GTA V with 17+ Million sold on PS4 is still only like 20+% of the PS4 playerbase. Next biggest playerbase game would be Black Ops 3 with around 15+ Million. Then you start getting FIFA and COD games around 10+ million and finally to Uncharted 4 with around 10 million. Now you have a semblance of idea how many Xbox One users are appreciating all the BC titles and FREE BC titles being offered up each month on XBL. Just an added chance to play games you might not have otherwise thought to play.
Except that particular view point about last generation games goes against a large base that thinks the idea of people wanting to still play older games is ridiculous. Even Sony themselves have came out and stated that their research shows people aren't interested in playing older titles and that is a large reason why they did not adapt BC to PS4.

Would just have to buy an XB1 as it has the game. Not sure why they thought any list of games was valid seeing they are obviously playable by many.
Bloodborne is a big game to include. Kind of a bandage for the recent announcement that they are dropping all free games except PS4 in 2019.
