Not true...xCloud is getting far better feedback from their Beta than other streaming services. And with it being included for all Game Pass ultimate subscribers it is just an added feature with no further buy in required.
True that... though the Xbox Console Streaming and PS Remote Play where you can stream your console to smaller devices via your home network is really a nice option for many. Sometimes the option of my son to just grab his tablet and play Gears of War is just a good thing. And then my kids aren't always fighting over TV use.
Who saves a level play just to come back and play it again over and over? Just not really a thing.
And yet games had nothing to do with PS4 domination at launch. As PS4 was seriously lacking games to start. Marketing is going to make or break either system this generation.
It's basically a hybrid handheld. Not like we didn't expect it to sell numbers. Had it launched alongside PS4 and Xbox One it would likely be in the lead right now. Not really fair comparison against traditional console systems.
They have already stated it will NOT have the Elite controller bundled with it.
People need to get over this already. If Microsoft still owns publishing rights then regardless of it being Insomniac or SEI they will need to go through Microsoft for any port of the original game. SEI owning the IP does guarantee they can make any sequel though.

There for sure is a difference between owning an IP and owning the...
I like how this comment section completely became a Deep Down conversation. lol
"During an interview with Eurogamer in November 2019 (primarily focused on Street Fighter V), Ono responded to a mention of Deep Down, saying that despite its long absence, the game "[has] not been completely given up on"..."
Or in laymen terms... lets grab our scrotums and twist.
@ApexWolf22 "Not having anything for their upcoming console after all their acquisitions is just plain ridiculous, they’ve become Netflix for gaming..." - your idea that because they will be creating games that will cover both this gen and next gen consoles at the same time means they won't have anything for their upcoming console is simply wrong.
@Neonridr - you are obviously missing the point of offering a game many (vast majority of PS gamers) can't even play versus offering a game that they can choose not to play. When you are used to getting at least 3 titles you can choose from but then get only 2 because the other offered up free game is only to a very small minority of users... that is where his (and others) concern is.
Have heard that tune ever since Xbox launched almost 20 years ago.
...
It still gonna have a Battlepass/Seasonpass though. I shouldn't have to pay for any pass if I pay for the game. Simple as that.
@xX-oldboy-Xx ...not sure you are aware of what launch titles actually means maybe?
Watch how every single person that has laughed at Forbes and their gaming section now jump in as hard supporters of this article. lol
Nope... the next video game Netflix series title should be either Mass Effect or Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. Two games that I think have a good enough story and could draw even non-gamers into watching. Though of course the special effects would come at a high cost.
I disagree... there is a point in many games where frame rate need no longer reach a higher state while resolution could still be optimized.
For sure frame rate needs to hit certain standards but when the point of standard is met the inclusion of resolution improvement over additional frame rate is subjective.
Key words that say it all "strong backbone".
