I was excited about this game when it came out on the 360 but I didn't own the system. I'm definitely picking this up on the PS3.
We've had this discussion since the PS3 came out. It's not so much that the PS3 has less memory than it is that developers don't want to change the code to the PS3. Yes, the 360 has more physical memory for the video to access but it's slower. Say a game needs 400mb of ram to run because the 360 can only load at 700 mhz. The PS3 only has 256mb of memory so it can't load the same amount as the 360. The code has to rewritten to load in 256mb chunks, but guess what, the PS3's memory runs at 3.2g...
I've been trying to get this game from the UK but I cant find any sites that import from there.
And they wonder why PC gaming is steadily losing steam. This is crazy. No one is fully using DX10 yet and they are moving on to another architecture? What's the point?
Yeah I've played more Stardust since the new update than I have since I bought the game, and that was last year. I never thought it would matter but I keep going back to try and get more trophies. I think developers who decide not to add trophies are missing out on getting more sales for older titles. I know I would got back to older titles to try and get them.
The developer compliments the Bioshock team for pouring their hearts into a project and making a fantastic game. He says he hopes his team can do the same thing.
OK, so that's why LT wasn't in All Pro 2k8. He's still under contract with the Blitz franchise. Well that sucks,I'm not a fan of these games.

Sony is a hardware company first, always has been. It's evident in their forward thinking technology. It explains why the PS3 software features are a little behind the 360 features because MS is a software company first. That doesn't mean they can't do the other very well though.
I thought the point of releasing Windows 7 so soon was to reduce the the performance hit on PC's. True it uses the Vista core but I thought it was to be streamlined.
The fact that this is coming from Gamespot and not a developer that's familiar with both consoles makes it hard to believe. Especially, considering that the PS3 has some of the most graphically impressive games of the generation. Why is Forza and PGR not able to do what GT5P was able to do the first time through?
Oh well, just like a lot of other people, I was going to get the game if it supported trophies but now I guess I won't. I was trying to decide if I wanted to buy it and trophy support would have helped convinced me. I don't think these developers realize that they could get some added sales right now if they are the first to add trophies. People want to use this feature now not wait 2 or 3 months for the new games that support it.
Ok if that's that case then why did the PS3 sell over 80000 units in Japan in the week that MGS4 came out. The week before they only sold about 10000 units.
I just got this game and it's awesome. It's got a steep learning curve but once you get the hang it's hard to put down. I would give it a score in the range of 8.5 to 8.8
I got the update early Wed morning and it works perfectly.
My buddy and I downloaded the update last night. I have a 60 gig and he has a 40 gig. We both started back playing games and sending messages. No hangups what so ever.

Yeah that sucks. I don't want to depend on playing with someone to enjoy Diablo. All my friends have families and i don't want to wait for them to get my play on. Developers need to stop doing this crap. Make it an option not a necessity.
