The only thing I agree with that's better on XBL is the cross game chat. That is a d@mn cool feature that I would love to have on PSN. The 8 way private chat is a useless feature to me. How many of you guys actually use that? Hell, I've only used the private chat twice in 2 years. As for everyone having a mic, I'm glad not every idiot gets to talk straight out of the box. Making them pay for a mic keeps a lot of the prepubescent kids out of my ear.
My PS3 died back in Oct. and I had to pay the $150 to get it replaced. That was the longest 2 weeks I've had in a while. Luckily I had backed up everything a week earlier.
These features are great and all but what about remote login to your account. Nothing sucks more than playing R2 over a friends house and not being able to login so you can gain experience or Trophies on your account.

GG has the potential of making a lot of money by licensing out their engine to other developers. That would help cut development costs and time for other companies.
The article make reference to no Japanese games being on the list of best games on Spike TV's award show. I don't think that Spike TV is a true representation of the US gaming community. At least I hope it's not. I know a lot of people who thought that MGS4 was the best game of 2008.

As much as I dislike MS it is smart what they are doing. I don't think that Halo Wars and the GTA DLC will come close to Killzone2 but MS will market them like crazy. Sony is doing fine. As long as they are selling systems, they are fine. The worst thing Sony can do is drop the price to $299 and go back to losing $100 a system. They would rather sell 300,000 systems a month and break even on every system than to sell 600,000 systems a month and lose $100 on every system sold. Do the math and tell me if that's not the better option.

Some people are so dumb I'm surprised they know how to work a computer. The d@mn thing's a beta and it' been avaliable to the masses for less than a week. It could be a beta for the next year. So what, it's free and it's not required for you to get the full PS3 experience.
I've played a lot of FPS. Call of Duty 4 is the only one I haven't played that's come out recently. R2 has been the only game that's changed my reluctance to play online. HA!! Its' a good thing I went into the beta the night before they opened it to everyone. I was able to get all those items for free.
If anything i think people are more interested in FFXIII because it's the closet to coming out. There's no idea what time frame Versus will be released and info is very scarce. I for one am looking forward to Versus.
