If you can accept the dual hack'N'slash-adventure /RTS gameplay it is very enjoyable. If you like any combination of Metal, Hard Rock, and Glam you should enjoy the universe, and Jack Black as the main character seals the deal.
The game teaches you how-to-play the RTS part along the way while the bulk of the game is combos and abilities in a free-roam area. Definitely try it out since it is pretty cheap, it has heart, a tribute to the genres it encompasses
The only reason I would ever smoke cigarettes is if I was a cowboy. Even then it would just be for show
Cigars are alright though
A big a part of EA is the Frostbite Engine. No EA means no Frostbite, no Frostbite means a lot of games are left out
Without a doubt Resident Evil 4
5 times on GC, 4 on Wii, at least 3 on 360
They say anything mentally stimulating is healthy for the elderly (crosswords, math/problem solving, etc.). I know Brain Age for DS was a pretty big hit among the older generations
The real test is using "mainstream" games, often these studies use independent games made by research groups and not games most gamers would get their hands on.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this
Anyone can take concept art, a handrawn model, and slap the League logo on it, though I hope it's legit. He's a black Champion who doesn't look stereotypical in the slightest, very badass, either Piltover or maybe another dimension. Hopefully we get word by Monday
Bioshock Infinite would've been delayed (again) or have its single-player aspect suffer. Two things I don't people want. And I'm sure being only single-player doesn't take anything away from it
Adding Multiplayer usually takes away from the SP or delays the game, maybe even both (or none if possible).
I could see Fawful as an assist Trophy at least.
Flies on stage, quote bubble appears, shoots down onto the stage in wild intervals
What's been stopping them?
I could easily play Metroid Prime without shooting. Sure it adds fun factor in a lot of situations, but I would still have a lot of admiration for it if it was purely platforming and puzzle solving. Quite a few people wouldn't even call it an FPS, moreso a First Person Adventure with shooting mechanics
If you could remove the shooting aspect from an FPS and have the game still be a great piece of work, then you know you have something special (Bioshock 1 comes to mind as...
All I want is for the Nintendo Directs to have the same type of excitement as the usual conference. I don't want to be shuffled into a white room and listen to Iwata slow talk his way into the reveals. I also don't want to hear about sales data or posturing, just an onslaught of previews, videos, and demos
If they cut the crap and put in real effort into the reveals, then I will accept this change. E3's already bad enough with its decline and the loss of a dedicat...
Class-action?
First G4 dies and then Nintendo says they won't have a main conference
Suddenly E3 isn't so special anymore (I don't care if it has been in decline for several years). E3 was like a Gamer's Christmas, waking up early, turning the channel, sitting in front of the T.V. for several hours. Looks like I will be celebrating Hanukkah this year.
Don't disappoint me please
I will be expecting Retro Studios to be the Ace in the Hole, their final showing (provided they do show something)
The fact we will get to see Smash Bros. footage, new Mario and Zelda updates, and a Bayonetta 2 showing is getting me pumped (not to mention "X").
Surprises will be F-Zero, StarFox, GTA 5 for WiiU, anything from EA. A new 3DS model might be announced.
How is Luigi's Mansion not a "real Luigi adventure"?
I have doubts on YI2 as well (too zoomed in, Yoshi has weird animations)
On the other hand I do like LTTP2, it's what you would expect from a Top-down, 3D Zelda (the art style is up to personal taste) and the 3D effects are impressive.
I had no idea Kameo had history on other consoles. Never tried it myself, but I heard it was one of the better launch titles
Too many reviewers blasted it for "repetitive, dull gameplay". It suffered from being too realistic for its own good, I reckon it takes more than a few shots from a Cricket bat to kill a real person, less a zombie. Yes they could've expanded on melee combat, but when it's one man versus hordes of Zombies that tries to be as realistic as you could expect, it leads itself to its own corner.
When you consider it was a realistic survival sim (really it was a sim...
If I said "people don't like me because I'm a good person, but because I have lots of money", is that really a good thing to admit?
The Crytek of today wouldn't survive in 20 years (when every console has the best graphocs possible). They pretty much admitted that Crysis has little substance, just pretty colors
There are certainly a lot of games coming out for both gens that there isn't too big of a rush to get in the next-gen, it depends if you are into Killzone, Knack, or whatever next-gen exlusives are being cooked up
Personally I still have Bioshock to get, Destiny and Watch Dogs are also coming to the current Gen. Die-hard fans will certainly jump in, but alot of gamers like me are in no hurry. I'd expect next-gen to start off modestly for everyone, a big rush in the fi...
