Galaxy successor, hopefully.
Man, emulators suck. I payed a premium for heart gold so I could play it on my 3DS instead of for free on mobile. I hate on-screen "buttons".
" The Last Guardian at E3 2014 100% being worked on?"
- This is an absolutely terrible headline
Still hoping for DLC to fix this roster. In the meantime, I'll be maining Pink Gold Peach.
I rather liked Rosalinas Iceworld, my main problem with it were the bad camera angles at times. And I enjoyed Moonview Highway because it became such a clustercluck, isn't Mario Kart about letting out frustration and losing friendships? I even had fun in Kalamari Desert, chasing after the train.
Nintendo should keep the most popular servers running for a couple more years insteadof ccutting everything at once IMO. Mario Kart Wii was still well populated last year. But I suppose they need to reduce costs and focus their farms on new titles. MK8 and Smash will need some good infrastructure.
That freaking eel scared me too, and I think every single colossus from SoTC deserves a mention. And then there's the ghostly creatures from Ico, the flood in Halo 1, the sun in Mario Bros 3 and the blue blob in Yoshis Island.
In that link Eurogamer writes that, as Nintendo stated, with more than two players it drops to 30FPS. You're not making a good case here. Why would you make up lies like this?
Ok, I can believe it's 30, makes the framedrops more understandable since they're so noticeable. Not that they're in any way a game-breaker, only occurring during explosions and tree-cutting).
The fact that it's smooth enough to be mistaken for 60FPS is quite impressive. I heard it was 60 prior to launch and haven't given a second thought (other than the drops which felt strangely aggressive). I'm feeling kinda silly now...
@InTheLab, there's more to visuals that can be improved than resolution... Mario Kart hasn't been a jaw-dropper before (it's always looked good, but only Super, Double Dash and 7 can be called graphically great and even they are rarely brought up in discussions of best looking games on their respective systems) , so what will this mean for the coming first-party titles(?).
I have a problem with how Nintendos art directions are made up to be so easy and basic. The may not be as technically taxing as Shadow Fall, but they're beautifully realised and polished until perfection. The animations are always top-notch and so is the presentation. There are few games that get anywhere close in overall quality.
Don't get why you're getting disagrees, I'm somewhat of a Nintendo lover and own almost all the "big" Wii U games. None of them are 1080p @ 60FPS except Rayman Legends and Wind Waker HD, and the latter has framedrops and is essentially a gamecube title. Based on MK8s visuals and screenshots I'd say 720p is the most likely and is perfectly acceptable. People being fooled by Wii Us upscaler is a good example of how unimportant resolution is at times.
...
I just want to point out that this "experience" isn't just about graphics and framerate. It can be enhanced by how you play it, where and when.
I'm pretty sure it's 720p, the system upscales and outputs everything at 1080p.
Rumble, touch-pad, motion sensors. Those are the real battery drainers. Particularly the last two.
And then there's the fact that the DS4 has, for some lord-knows-why stupid reason, a smaller battery capacity than the DS3!
It's one model too new.
And perhaps a certain game on said platform? ;-)
I went to check if it was available in Europe, turns out I already got it for free with Plus.
This could be big. Good thing E3 is so close.
What about Majoras Mask 3D?
