Stupid shovelware, release in Europe already!
Fuck yes. I was starting to regret my standard edition order, which cost as much as the deluxe one should. Still getting this.
This would be really cool, but it has to be a properly done port.
It should be a case of optimising the bytes per pixel, I wonder how big a difference tiled resources could bring?
Imagine if Microsoft had just given devs 64MB of ESRAM in stead... The Wii U has 32MB of fast memory, and that's optimised for 720p. I know being captain hindsight doesn't help, but it's such an odd oversight from Microsofts side. I still really enjoy my Xbone though.
In a game like Diablo, I'd rather cut down on shadows or something to run at native resolution.
These things always mildly annoy me, it's not just a different engine, but a different art-direction and different target-specs. Never a good comparison of anything other than being fan-art. In fact I'm disappointed that the Halo series is moving towards a more realistic approach, when the more vibrant style of the first games was so great and unique.
I'd like to see this lead to Microsoft acquiring the Ryse IP, and either Sony or Microsoft (or heck, even Nintendo, that would be interesting) buy the folks that used to be Vigil.
May I ask what made you want to own a statue of Aiden Pearce? Guy looks like a rapist or something.
I really enjoyed Reach, the story and characters weren't interesting but the setting and battles were. Definitely preferred it to ODST, but I want to see both games make it to Xbone.
I concidered buying this on Xbox last night, I'll wait and see what this Ultra version brings and if it's content makes it onto Xbox as well.
What BS, the only controversy is the one that Bioware tries to make for marketing purposes.
And yet, Ghosts sold more on Playstation...
Yeah, I don't disagree with anything you've said, but it's the initial price and not knowing what hardware they need that keeps people off. They don't consider the total sum over five-six years. And there are ways to obtain console games at similar prices, by importing or being patient / sales.
Sure, what exclusives people like is totally subjective, but considering there's these four platforms each with their own, it's more likely someone will fall un...
GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption both ran at a higher resolution on Xbox 360 than PS3, you can do the googling yourself.
But yeah, this gen the PS4 is the most powerful. No discussion. But that doesn't make the Xbox any less of a good system, did the original Xbox make the PS2 a bad console? No.
I'm a proud Xbone owner, it's a great machine. Feels far more polished and finished from an OS and UI perspective than both the PS4 and Wii U.
I can understand where you're coming from, but generally it seems to be a combination of:
Not as good exclusives, somewhat more online cheaters, less stable, introductory price, and importantly a general lack of computer knowhow...
I used to do a fair bit of PC gaming, but decided to move away from it except for at small-time LANs and such. It's hard to justify when you've got every console as well. And I just prefer to use my PC as a PC, and my c...
PS4/Wii U is a good combo, at least it has been for me.
I'm sure the gameplay could still do with some work, a sequel may fix that but I don't know if I want one.
I don't think Destiny's Playstation exclusive content is a cause for celebration, but rather concern. System specific content in a multiplaform game is always bad.
This is a good deal from Microsoft, effectively making the game ten bucks cheaper. Games are too expensive as is.
