A couple EAD titles (time to show Miyamotos new IP and Zelda U, but it could be anything) , something by Intelligent Systems for 2015 (a proper Paper Mario a'la Thousand Year Door and 64 on Wii U please), another outsourced title like Hyrule Warriors and Majoras Mask 3D (puhleese!).
That's my reasonable hopes for new stuff. Then there's info on all the already announced games on top.
Do you seriously believe Iwata is the sole person who runs Nintendo? Let him try to right this ship, sacking him could cause more disturbance than good.
A drastic pricedrop? It's hardly expensive at all. Buying extra controllers and an external harddrive for it is where the money goes. And offering it without a gamepad is stupid, it's a must for the true experience and mandatory for several games and applications.
I wouldn't mind a smaller pricedrop, but I'd rather see better bundles and Nintendo dropping the Basic model and having just the colour be the difference. Oh, and give it a harddrive already, even i...
The Wii U is tiny, so is the box it comes in. But the Gamepad could be made a little smaller. I think they should slap a harddrive in it.
You'd want nunchucks to go with those Wiimotes, so keep that in mind.
Hopefully this'll prompt Sony to make a PS4 sequel. I bought this at launch and loved it.
And it'll be won by Nintendo with Zelda U, or Ubisoft as usual. But I'm looking forward to all of E3. Still hoping for The Last Guardian...
Our bodies aren't ready yet.
That's not untrue, but there's not just one form of SMAA. The one used in inFAMOUS was of a very advanced form with added bells and whistles (T2X, it's better at dealing with temporal aliasing or flickering /shimmering caused by the AA when in motion). We do not know how advanced this'll be.
It's a post-process effect (done after all the graphics are rendered) and is likely going to replace FXAA as the go-to type of AA, it's not quite as cheap as FXAA (co...
Such a stupid headline, what counts as a must-have is completely subjective. For me, the new Infamous was a must-have, as a fan of the series.
Didn't thet say in the latest direct that the western release had same-sex marriage? Maybe I'm confusing it with something else.
In the last gameplay video I saw, grass and foliage didn't react to characters moving through it... Hopefully that'll be fixed, or it could be jarring. I'm mostly interested in the gameplay and world though. Of course, the world will benefit from capable tech.
Not if you've played it before it won't.
Looking forward to the next analysis.
It's a shame, and I wonder what's going on at Xbox headquarters. But at least 900p is a good resolution, and most will probably not even notice unless they're looking for it.
I wouldn't be surprised if this technique ends up looking as good if not better than real-time rendered AO, which tends to be a bit flickering. Destiny looking brilliant as always.
Smash Bros for Wii U was never "moved" to winter, it won't be done until then. You can't say it was delayed when it's the first we hear of a release other than 2014. If anything, one could argue the 3DS version was moved ahead to keep them from competing in sales, but that too would be somewhat incorrect.
Directs come in different forms, some are game specific, others more general. And it's in Nintendos interest to keep some things under wraps until ...
A stable framerate is generally always better than a fluctuating one. If you're noticing the framerate throughout the game, it's doing it wrong. I personally have no issue with Second Son though.
Yes yes.
It's so much, much better with a stick though (in just about every game). But Pro controller feels the nicest.
