My wallet disagrees, I can live better without them. :-P
I have to ask: What about texture filtering?
In engine, not actual realtime rendering. Similar to how past Uncharted games and The Last of Us uses prerendered cutscenes made in-engine, but with higher fidelity.
Meh, Zelda looks better. :-P
Microsoft were far more focused, Sony showed some more interesting titles.
It doesn't matter though, Nintendo won. They had both focus and games, and the Treehouse event is awesome. The future of E3.
I'm disappointed they haven't even tried to match the lighting.
Anyway, I'm still living in hope for the game.
Local multiplayer you say? Take my money!
I hope there's a Fat Princess 2 in development.
SNES or Wiimote. You have to admit the wobblestick was unlike anything else with motion controls, can be held sideways, nunchuck if needed.
I quite like the Gamepad, but it's a bit too big, it rattles, no proper triggers, bad battery life.
Apart from the three-hand design, the N64 was very comfortable to use.
"Merio Kart?"
The one in the game is, yes.
It's not so much an issue, other than that it's 30FPS. Racers like this feel so much better at 60FPS.
I have just one 360 controller, so it was that in combination with third-party ones. The game kept messing up what buttons did what, resulting in some truly broken control-schemes. It eventually worked out, but I haven't played it since.
Neither the Playstation nor Xbox has truly lived up to the hype, but how could they?
I own a PS4 and the main menu and storefront is a serious step down from PS3. The lack of USB media playback and 3D bluray support is a shame, and for some reason the audio drops out if I turn it on before the TV (just need to reselect the input to fix that though). But these things can and probably will all be fixed in time. We're in it for the long run. Fingers crossed they can sort out...
It's a great game, I just wish they'd made it 60FPS on consoles, I suppose Mario Kart 8 has proven the Wii U as notably more powerful than the PS360 when done justice.
It can run at 60FPS on PC, but not on my laptop without a serious sacrifice. And setting up multiple controllers for multiplayer was a serious pain in the butt.
Seems the author is unaware that Bentley is entering motorsport this year with bigger spoilers than that.

I know, opinions. But that's why we have comment-fields.
Can't say I agree with this list: I find the lack of Donkey Kong and Mario Kart disturbing, Transistor would be higher and Ground Zeroes (although excellent) would be lower if it was mine.
My PS4 is standing vertically, just to be on the safe side.
I'd argue NSMBU and 3D World qualify as party-games. At least I've had some great multiplayer fun with them at parties.
Internal balancing to remove wobble confirmed!
Well, I suppose it is the highest selling one. So it's not complete bs.
As an owner of both, I like them for their differences, but if I could only pick one... 3DS. The first party offerings are far better.
