They've done nothing but make bad games and worse decisions this gen so this really isn't surprising.
I would have been happy with uncharted, infamous and resistance but there is so much more in 2011 it really is going to be an epic year for gaming
My Desire Z is looking forward to it too :)
No it isn't the PSPhone, it is just an app.
Sony Ericsson make smartphones and as such are in competition with the iPhone. The Playstation Blog and PSN aren't really in competition with the iPhone though. Sony Ericsson have nothing to do with this other than the fact they make Android phones like the Xperia X10.
There could be various reasons as to why it isn't on Windows Phone 7, possibly because an official Playstation App maybe wouldn't hav...
I'm sure they had their reasons but as a Gears fan I find myself a little disappointed. I was looking forward to seeing more of the game.
Roll on E3 I guess?
I am going to give you a bubble for t he inFAMOUS love my friend.
Uncharted, inFAMOUS and Gears are easily my favourite new IP's this gen...oh along with Resistance...it's awesome too.
Gears 3 is easily my most anticipated 360 game of 2011, without a doubt.
Shit like this is why I will never buy another Call of Duty game.
It's not like there is a shortage of shooters for me to enjoy.
I think that's pretty cool, although it really needs to be able to allow messages on PSN to be more useful and practical.
Nice idea, let's see how it evolves.
Loving that they actually had the sense to support Android too, considering how big the OS is now. I wouldn't have been surprised had this been an iPhone only app as people often forget how many Android phones are out there now.
Have a bubble on me sir
With that logic there would be no more PS3's or 360's sold
His comments about so much being focused on Kinect has me slightly concerned as a core gamer.
I want new, exclusive core games and I don't mean shooters or 3rd party times exclusives that will end up on PS3 with all the DLC bundled in.
I do enjoy Gears, I loved Reach too and Codename Kingdoms looks interesting but I really want to see more new ip's for the core gamer that I can't get anywhere else. A reason to turn my 360 on....I'll admit I...
I'm sitting watching Frankie Boyle's Tramadol Nights atm....soooo awesome lol
EA aren't shafting people and acting like complete douchebags, which is why people don't mind them.
How many crap ports have EA come out with apart from their work on The Orange Box?
Burnout Paradise, published by EA was awesome on PS3 and they allowed Criterion to put out numerous free DLC and Criterion are going to be putting out free DLC for Hot Pursuit now too, another game which runs great on PS3. They've also tried some new IP's this gen...
I disagree and I'll tell you why.
Yes companies are in business to make money but the smart ones know that looking after their customers and doing right by them keep them coming back for more and they are likely to gain more custom by word of mouth and of course marketing.
Yes, ultimately it is a pursuit of money but the way in which some companies actively go about it is what matters. I mean would you paint a company like Insomniac Games with the same br...
I'd imagine the 360 has had a few more original IP's than that.
In fact you named one in your post then didn't list it. Gears of War.
I'm of the opinion that the 360 has a severe lack of new original IP, specifically from 1st party studios but without knowing the names I'd imagine there are a few more new IP's exclusive to the 360 than those you named.
But yeah, I'd like to see them buying up some studios and makin...
This isn't PSP Go related but I've noticed that the publishers must be on crack with recent additions to downloadable versions of games on the Playstation Store.
Over in the UK, Ubisoft have the original Assassin's Creed full game up for like £23 when the Platinum Collection version on disc can be bought brand new for £9.99 and now Activision have Prototype up for like £31.99
Not sure where they get these fantasies from that they ar...
In Betweeners any time I want on my big TV....awesomeness!
I followed the original game through development for at least a couple of years, thought it looked amazing but when it actually released I didn't feel compelled to finish the game to be honest.
If the sequel looks to be an improvement I'll be glad to give it a chance....but I really despise giving Activision any money.
From the 3 games mentioned it would be Uncharted 3 and Arkham City. No real interest in Mass Effect as I'm not an RPG fan.
About as well made as a chocolate bomb shelter.
