There should be a facepalm for the caption in that one.
Should say foolishness instead of foolness.
Is that online in Gears of War is f'ing terrible.
I mean I love Horde mode, that is just a really really fun mode but it takes quite some time to get into a game and the online play is just laggy.
So much so that I believe Cliff Blezenski said it's something they want to fix for Gears 3.
And I think that even for the current price people pay, any MS Game Studios published games such as Gears, Halo, Forza, Fable if it has online play s...
If they had said 'look, we need to increase the price to support the network infrastructure and thats it' then that would have come across as somewhat reasonable to some folks but to lean on 2 exclusive games and timed exclusive DLC is just a joke.
I love my PS3 as much as the next guy, it gets so much more use than my 360 but the guy has a point.
When it comes to updates then it is a lot faster on the 360, both in downloading and installing. Now I have no issue with my PS3 updating, my downloads are fast but the install process can be painstaking at times and it's normally installs of larger updates or game demos where the file size is quite big.
I'm not that bothered though, if something is in...
This update is just so much slicker and cleaner than the previous version, it's been really well done indeed.
I won't be getting Kinect because the games they are releasing don't appeal to me.
TBH though I'd say I am not the target market for this product. MS aren't making this thing for the core gamer which is pretty much confirmed by Greenberg's recent quotes about how Move is good but Kinect is something different and they don't want to be giving people a choice of control scheme for core games but rather create games designed to work with Kinect.

That isn't a problem of GT5. That's a problem with the person playing not being very good at driving.
I sooo want this to be the rumoured Starhawk BUT I want there to be a kick ass single player campaign too.
Multiplayer is great but for me there is nothing better than a truly awesome single player campaign in a game.
Will take a little getting used to but I do like how the site is laid out.
An N4G Android app when it comes will be pretty awesome, looking forward to that.
Did you get to a certain pint before this started happening? Because I played for a few hours last night on PS3 and it ran absolutely fine.
I noticed a little frame rate drop in one place for a few seconds but apart from that, no issues at all.
Ban kids from being able to access content that is R rated or whatever is fine.
Banning that content altogether is quite ridiculous and wrong.
I really loved the demo, I loved playing Time Crisis arcade machines.
There's basically no chance that I won't buy this game.
3 games on the one disc too....yeah, DO WANT!
Might get the gun attachment too, not sure.
What phone did you get and what didn't you like about it?
I've got what is now an outdated (in terms of hardware) Android phone and it's pretty awesome since I was able to root it and make the performance so much better.
The 360 has some good exclusives, there just aren't enough of them which is my main problem with the damn thing.
Because as they demo what it looks like the Avatars leg twists in ways the human body would not be able to without remove the bones from your legs and thus being completely unrealistic by virtue of it doing anything but following how you moved your body. And it kind of spazzes out as he did the movement.
Greenberg actually being quite sensible and intelligent in his interview for a change.
He does this from time to time, if only he'd do it more often he'd get a lot more respect.
That article actually made a fair few good points about MS as a consumer brand.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it is a dying consumer brand but that article did point out some warning signs and even some areas where MS have struggled and are losing ground such as search, zune and the browser market.
They need to keep it up though and hope these continued good results in the first year of Windows 7 aren't just a flash in the pan whilst everyone moves f...
Probably doesn't say Gears 3 because it's on the Playstation Blog....they aren't exactly going to promote a non Playstation game even if it is only mentioning what the guy is working on.
I really loved SSHD so I know these guys can make really awesome and fun games and they know how to work the PS3 so that we get a great performing game and gorgeous PS3 graphics.
This video looks fantastic and with online co-op it's definitely a day 1 buy.
I think with extra maps via DLC over time (remember Housemarquee aren't a huge studio by any means) this game could have some seriously long legs. Some extra modes and stuff could keep it going for ...
There should be a facepalm for the caption in that one lol.
