Right then guys - an update for you!
The issue revolves around your friends list - if you have 50 or more friendsthen Wipeout will crash when you attempt to move from one menu to another. Dont worry - this is not an issue with the PlayStation Network! It will likely require a minor software update.
The Gaming Team and Studio Liverpool have been notified, and are working very hard to bring you such an update.
In the mean time, there are some work-arounds I'd like ...
If that guy is really genuine then he just needs to buy a PS3 cuz it has everythiing he's asking for. Of course it could be a PS3 owning 360 basher but who knows, I doubt any of us really care.
Home itself won't be a system sellr on it's own and I'm not sure that is what it's intended to be.
Instead of thinking of it as a system seller think of it like this. Xbox Live is one of the many selling points of the 360 and a pretty strong one at that. The 360 online community is strong regardless of how much any given person may hate MS or the 360. It's online community is just another factor, among a fair few others that comes into the equation when someone is perhaps on the ...
The game looks and plays amazingly and the online tournaments are really fun. Along with the price it's easily one of the best purchases for the PS3.
WANT MOAR!
lol mankini owns
I'd love a new Road Rash game, I had so much fun with those games on the Mega Drive (Genesis)
There's a lot of really good points in some of these comments but as a PS3 owner looking forward to R2 I do agree that they need to at least advertise the game a and even the console in general little bit more.
I know about R2 because I visit sites like this, hear about the games and then track what I'm interested in. Not everyone does though, a friend of mine through work is an avid lover of blu-ray movies and a big movie buff in general as he is a PS3 owner and playstation lo...
Pretty solid update.
Wipeout is an absolute certainty for me and at some point I will buy Burnout because it has a really good list of trophies but I'll not get it today as I simply don't have time to play it also lol.
Being bigger than youtube would be a tall order lol.
Besides it's a silly comparison to make for obvious reasons.
This is for you, taken from the us playstation forums.
"This beta is being released in order to test element of the online game. As such it should not be seen as a demo, a trial or anything more than helping us to ensure that the server architecture is running. If you don't get a key you are missing out on a version of the game which is extremely limited and not fully representative of the final Blu-ray release of the game."

That comment about socom not saving it from the "fall onslaught" suspciously strange.
I only really saw a good part of this game through Gamespot at this years E3 (their live streaming coverage of it was great btw) and thought wow that looks cool but not sure if it's my cup of tea. My interest in this game since has only grown over time so hopefully they give away more keys cuz I missed out this time :(
I think I'll be trying it out one way or another.
The reviews this game were a little harsh I think.
Majority of star wars fans will get a lot of enjoyment from this game.
Day 1 purchase
Review was a decent read and had some good info on what to expect.
Hmm I think i'll give this a try at some point, not just yet though. I forsee many hours spent on Wipeout HD multiplayer lol.
"Just wow at the defence force.
Don't care about this but if it looked better and had better framerate on the ps3 you'd be screaming to the high hills about how good it is and you know it."
No doubt there would be people screaming about that. Personally though it doesn't matter much to me, the game looks like garbage on both versions imo.
Pure is an off road ATV multi-plat that I really liked the look of from the demo on my PS3, I liked ...
"Do the die-hard defenders want to know why I think that? How many of the games in your collection are you still playing every single day after owning them for 3 months? What about 6 months? How about a year? See where this is going? Over time the interest will drop. New owners will sign in and explore for a while, but for many of them the interest will fade as well."
You make a fair point and I have no doubt peopel will get bored of it and lose interest from time to ...
Really looking forward to seeing exactly what Home is all about when it is finally released. It doesn't have me as excited as the upcoming game releases do but I am looking forward to getting into it.
It won't be perfect at launch despite the delays and will need a fair bit of work over time, that should come asa no surprise to anybody but if we've learned one thing from the PS3's lifespan thus far it's that Sony do continually tweak, improve and add things to make their services...
I get that too Fadge.
Also trophies/gamercards take too long (imo) to load up but hey, it's free so a few seconds isn't a huge deal but it'd be nice if it were quicker.
