I've loved and been impressed by all of the gameplay footage shown so far but for some reason this video wasn't as impressive as the in game footage shown recently. The video still looks good but I've been more impressed by the actual gameplay videos.
Either way though, day 1 purchase :)

Visually it's stunning, even more so than Resistence 2 which from the recent gameplay videos looks incredible.
Only a blind man or an ignorant fanboy could actually look at screenshots of this game and the gameplay videos out there and think it is unimpressive. As for the gameplay, can't know about the SP campaign until more is known on it.

This is true, first disc based game I owned with an install was DMC4 and tbh I didn't mind it at all, in fact I thought nothing of it.
You know I really don't mind the install times. How many of us console owners play or have played games on our PC's? Nobody bats an eyelid about installing PC games so it really shouldn't matter for consoles.

You won't have to connect it to anything, the only association it has with the controller is that it clips onto it. It communicates with the PS3 console via bluetooth in the same way the headset does and your DS3 does.
I mean did anyone that comes up with that kind of crap assumption even read the PS blog entry after this was announced? It can be used with smart phones etc. why would it have any need to be plugged into the DS3 when it is perfectly capable of connecting with any ...
I played the Demo and thought it was a lot of fun tbh but like you said the timing of this one isn't great. I do plan on getting Motorstorm instead and already have wipeout HD to tide me over until then.
The full release is probably really really fun but like you said, it'll undersell due to timing of the release.

I have the mad catz one that fits on the same way and it's really not a discomfort or an annoyance but this one looks like it's a big improvement on the mad catz version which I bought like a year ago.
The position it sits in isn't hard to type with at all in my experience.

Those gameplay videos look like garbage in comparison to the Resistance 2 videos that have come out recently, I mean the game looks "good" but good isn't exactly the standard for games these days. The gameplay itself should be great though which will be more than enough I'm sure and although the game will sell incredibly well it'll have a hard time being better overall compared to the likes of R2.
I'll most likely get a lot of diagrees and probably -bubbles for that but...
I wonder how many of the 20+ million 360 sales can be accounted for due to some people actually purchasing replacements for one that crapped out on them.
