I think Kratos' voice is HUGE part of the character and the game.
For anyone familiar with GoW it's instantly recognisable and us fans of the game identify with it as being Kratos.
Anything that sounds different just wouldn't be the same.
But then you never know we could be surprised and something similar yet different could work. I mean I know I never expected Matt Damon to be good in an action movie but I loved the Bourne series lol.
But I recently bought a 360 and whilst this doesn't actually confirm exclusivity for the 360 I don't care if it does, because I own one now lol.
Besides I'm satisfied with the upcoming PS3 exclusives to be bothered about the 360 having another exclusive in it's library. The difference right now is I know I will like the upcoming PS3 exclusives but this Capcom one (provided it is exclusive) might not even be my type of game.
Time will tell on all of this but eithe...
Yeah he is being humble but I think all developers are like that, any interview I've ever seen where the question is put to them there's always somethign they've either thought they could have either done better or just done differently.
I'd say most devs are very happy with their product when they ship but then as tiem passes they start to think oh maybe we should have done that differently or oh I'd have liked to do that differently.
I watched a video yesterday...
It's nice that he's being honest but tbh this should be common sense.
I've not ever heard of one game developer saying that in hindsight there is nothing they think they good have improved on.
Looking forward to getting this game!
I have to say all this sounds too good to be true but if I ever hoped I was wrong, this would be a reason for hoping that.
I'll wait until we get some kind of announcement or some kind of leaked screenshots like we did for the 2.4 update that gave us trophies, I recall a leaked screenshot of the trophy collection menu on a running PS3.
I believe Sony will give us a a lot of these features in time, maybe not all in one go like that but in time yes. Sony deliver wi...
thats because it is
I saw a Killzone 2 ad on TV tonight, during half time of a football match here in the UK.
This was a question put to seb in the live chat on the ps blog that I logged into earlier but tbh it's not anything new this has been known for some time
still though i think it's sensible...i think custom soundtracks would take away from the SP experience
I'd imagine if you enjoyed GTA4 there's no question you'd enjoy the DLC and get a lot out of it. Unfortunately GTA4 didn't do it for me like the previous games, I quit playing it after not too long in.
I own a 360 now (I didn't when the game was released) and believe me had I enjoyed GTA4 I'd have had no problem trading it in for the 360 version so I could get the DLC.
Hope you guys have fun, always nice to have games you enjoy.
Oh and wtf DLC get revie...
Games on LIVE are not hosted on MS servers, they are peer to peer based like a lot of games on the PSN are however some are hosted and maintained by developers on dedicated servers and are not P2P, Resistence 2 being an example of that...60 player MP which is lag free due to such a feature.
LIVE does not have this, it is all peer to peer so you're giving them $50 per year to connect to another person, not to a dedicated server. This is why after my free month of LIVE ends (I boug...
There are some really retarded articles and arguments out there.
They would be present right here.
Interesting read.
This game seems to have come a little out of left field, people that have seen it seem to have been really impressed with the gameplay. Maybe worth a look when released.
Cram it up your ass SCEE.
If I'm making a SF purchase it'll be SF4.
"haha, all it takes is saying nice things about Sony and of course you will agree. Surprised you could read my comment so far up on your "high horse" =)"
I think it had more to do with that actually being a well constructed and reasonable post from you for a change, rather than it being something nice about Sony.
I also agree with your post by the way.
oops wrong post sorry lol
It isn't an attack on KZ2 as such, in fact not one negative comment was made against KZ2 other than it's name being used as an example, it's more of a criticism of metacritic and I can see the guy's point however I don't necessarily agree with it.
What I would point out is that if the people at metacritic deem a publication or blog worthy of being featured on their site then why shouldn't their review carry weight? That is of course asuming they have written a sensible review ...
Because I'm going to be buying both.
However I am looking forward to infamous a bit more.
Prototype will be a PS3 purchase most likely...I like my trophies.
I fail to see the point of the article tbh.
It's concept art of a game nobody knows anything about and nobody knows if it's been scrapped, if Sony owns the rights to it or if those rights died along with the dev studio or if someone from that studio owns the rights.
It's all just pointless speculation to me.
I feel comfortable using both the 360 and PS3 pads, the only "controller" that becomes uncomfortable for a while for me is my PSP, I know that isn't really in there but it's the only thing that hurts my hands after a while.
Any argument over the colour of the guy isn't really relevant.
For the most part Kratos' skin is the colour of the ashes of his dead wife and daughter. The only part requiring the colour of the actors actual skin would be in some form of flashback to before he killed his loved ones and those parts are fairly dark meaning skin colour may not be that apparent at that time in the story.
