That would make some sense I think, if this is true of course.
They could just get rid of the Elite and offer different sizes of hard drive at a more reasonable price though.
Either move would be a decent one from their point of view I think.
Didn't Sony already clarify the PSN numbers? It was only a week ago where there was a bit of a Q&A with someone from Sony.
The accounts are made up of PS3 and PSP users and some will be registered users of the PS forums, although I doubt very many of them will be PSN accounts for the sole purpose of posting on PS forums.
They guy from Sony in that Q&A also said that for each machine there were about 1.8 PSN accounts, which makes sense considering a lot o...
Man I can't wait for GoW3. With the release date due to be given at E3 the hype train will really get moving and it'll be inescapable but you know what, I'm fine with that. God of War 3 will be the one game whose hype shouldn't be questioned.
You survive them.
That wasn't a bad review at all and I still plan on buying this game.
More RPG's, especially good JRPG's couldn't hurt at all.
Same can be said for a price cut.
I think those will come though, I'm not really an rpg fan though so don't give those much thought.
The PS3 is doing fine and doesn't need saving.
It's sold more in it's first 2 years than the 360 did in it's first 2 years.
The console features are always improving as is the PSN.
Sony's big name titles have begun rolling out and there are many more to come, some proven franchises like GOW and GT, some are sequels to IP's that are new to this gen such as Uncharted and some are completely new IP's like infamous and Heavy Rain.
With more game...
But it's nice to have a good idea when we can expect this to be released and I suppose we have enough to keep us occupied until then.
I like the box art too. Can't wait to get a shot at the demo!
I mean isn't their official line for going multi plat on FF13 something along the lines of them needing to maximize revenue in order to make money because games are now more expensive to develop and want to make more money?
Then they turn around and put out a bunch of 360 exclusives.
They've just made bad decisions and now they're suffering the consequences. They've made their bed and they are having trouble getting out of it.
R&C is easily one of my favourite games. It looks fantastic and is just pure fun from start to finish. Really can't wait for the next game later this year.
It's unreasonable to expect the number of PSN accounts to be anywhere close to the combined install base of PS3 and PSP combined. A hell of a lot of people don't connect either to the internet like thor previously mentioned and a lot of people will use the same account for both devices, I know I do.
I have 2 PSN accounts, my main account (EU) and a US account for access to the US store. My PSP uses the same EU account as my PS3 and that will hold true for many users.
Hoping for a solid release date at GDC, highly anticipating the release of this game.
Do gold members get access to them earlier or something? Because after reading an article about the demo last night I hopped onto the marketplace and couldn't see the demo.
I liked how QTE's were used in God of war and Heavenly Sword.
If Ninja Blade implementes them in a similar way then it won't be a problem.
How have you played the demo? I thought I r ead it wasn't out until Monday.
Wish I could actually read the review, the score doesn't interest me much. Been looking forward to this game based on the gameplay videos but i'd be nice to read some reviews too.
Not been interested in Tekken for years so I couldn't really care less if the PS3 version is dumbed down or the 360 version sucks. I wouldn't be buying it for my 360 anyway, reasons for this should be obvious (D-Pad).
Looking forward to trying this demo out, been looking forward to this game.
Until I can buy huge hard drive(s) for a paltry sum of money, download a movie in less than 30 minutes at any given time and have that movie be of the same quality of Blu-Ray in both picture, sound and features then no thanks.
Someone write about this again when movie download sales break the 1% market share "barrier" lol.
Some of what he says is true but not 100% TRUTH as you put it.
The HHG comment for instance, that guy was labelled a PS3 fanboy by the users here and by other sites whose articles have been published here. Why would these supposed Sony fanboys whine about another PS3 fanboy? Ridiculous comment really as both sets of fanboys hate on him when it serves their purpose and likewise change their tune when he says something positive about their console of choice.
Not to men...
There have indeed been a shortage of great games lately but with the recent announcements for PSP games I think 2009 is a good year to be a PSP owner.
