There was no real need for the comment but if you laugh at fanboys on both sides of this "war" and understand why it was made then it's actrually kind of funny.
Why do people that tout the difference in sales numbers ALWAYS ignore the fact that the 360 has been on the market for a full year longer in the USA and 18 months longer in the likes of Europe?
You have to think about it in relative terms and in thinking that way then the gap isn't really all that relevant.

Overall the guy seems impressed with the game since there are comments like "The sheer OMG!-ness of the experience makes Killzone 2 worth buying a PS3 for. And, given how much they cost, that's one hell of a compliment."

I don't think there is a definitive answer as it's purely subjective and based on personal opinion/preference.
I won both and prefer my PS3, I enjoy my 360 but I enjoy my PS3 more.
I have friends that are the other way around and ofc there are people who prefer to only own 1 console over the other which also goes both ways.
There isn't one console that is the best for everyone and that's a good thing because it forces both companies to strive to achieve ...
I dunno if I wanna see the footage or not lol.

Thisis a good ad, it shows gameplay footage that will look amazing on a good TV when aired and it lets the people know that it is actual gameplay footage and that it is only on PS3, the Visari voiceover is a nice touch too.
I think it's better than the US ad in that respect however I still like the US one, the EU one is just better imo.

The reason no 360 fanboys are in here making comments is because they would have no argument.
Watch when the next set of NPD sales figures showing 360 selling more in NA come out and they will be in screaming the PS3 is in trouble, despite the existence of this particular article.
Both sets of fanboys are just as bad as the other.
And thank you for a fantastic console that gets better with age, both in functionality and with games.
This just goes to prove that anyone writing articles saying the PS3 is doomed is an utter failure of a journalist and/or analyst as things are only going to imrpove for the PS3. A killer games lineup and price drops during it's life which will all contribute to more sales.

Whether or not the 360 can put out those kind of graphics is arguable but the reasons why KZ2 in it's current form cannot be done on the 360 has less to do with graphics as it does the technical aspects of the game.

I like LIVE and PSN as services in their own right however I do not like that there is a charge for LIVE and as I have an option, my multi-plat online gaming is done on PS3 rather than 360. I play 360 games but won't be bothering with online after my month of free gold runs out.

The official headset isn't the only one available, there are excellent alternatives that are cheaper and many people will already own a BT headset anyway. The alternatives are ignored in this piece.

I agree, the only 2 things that need added are the release date and a message, somewhere stating that it is hpw the game actually looks and not "graphics representative of gameplay" like other games do.
