There was a video posted on the playstation blog yesterday which featured some gameplay that I haven't seen before. Included in that was also a power/ability I haven't seen before where Cole was jumping around on the side of a big building and to get to the next platform he used the electricity from his hands to act like thrusters to extend his jump.
Looked pretty cool, can't wait to see more of this game and actually get playing it.
I wanna see some gameplay of this already, it's all very well speculating but it could turn out to be garbage but I hope not...more great games = happy happy joy hoy

PS3 was (maybe still is I honestly don't know) losing money on hardware and sales of the PS2 and PSP make profit on hardware sales which was/is used to subsidise the loss made on each PS3 sold.
If Backwards Compatibility was still offered then people would have little reason to buy a PS2, Sony would then make more of a loss due to PS3 manufacture cost vs retail pri...
The lancer, or any video game weapon for that matter, will never be as iconic in popular or geek/nerd culture as the light saber.
Gears is a fun game but the lancer is nowhere near as cool as a light saber and it isn't loved by anywhere close to as many people.
It's cool the guy has some ambition though to make their games and even parts of their game (weapon) somewhat iconic.
Some good things in there.
There's a ton more stuff people want that I'm sure they know about and the best thing is, if they want Home to succeed and gorw, most of what the people want will be added as long as it is faesible.

It's probably mostly people that don't own a 360 that trash on LIVE for carrying the cost it does. I was one of them, now I own a 360 and I can't see myself paying for a Gold subscription after my month free trial of LIVE runs out simply because I don't want to pay for it.

I didn't like Chrome's interface much, I just prefer the look and feel of firefox but I can see Chrome becoming very popular just because of it's name and the fact it's being made known to the internet using public more than firefox is.

I don't mind the fact that Windows ships with IE. The only time I use IE is after a format or something liek t hat to download FireFox again. After that it never really gets used until I come across the odd website that doesn't really work with FireFox and then for a short time I have to use IE when on hat particular site, because some are just quirky when it comes to them working with different browsers.

I like how the 360 controller feels, it's pretty comfortable but at the same time I have no problem with the PS3 controller, certainly not enough to spend the money on this thing.
Besides I llike the fact that the PS3 controller uses bluetooth and I can turn it on with the PS button not to mention the sixaxis controls are nice in some games.
This is certainly a nice alternative for anyone who feels like getting one.
I agree, it was rough going at the start but much better now.
I think the biggest factor that held the PS3 back at launch was the price, the price was ridiculously high. I think people could have forgiven the lack of games at launch but for the price it cost at launch people expected there to be a lot of games for them to play which wasn't really the case.

Loved the storyline, it's the only reason I finished the game.
It was quickly traded in after finishing it off.

Seriously, why does it really matter?
Not like there aren't plenty of other things to shoot at and destroy.
If it does get passed around it'll be between first party publishers and maybe the odd independant studio like Insomniac (2nd party?).
What will be more common though is them sharing code and information on how they accomplish certain things and share little pieces of their tech with the other studios.

Yeah we've only seen 2 or 3 very basic powers which I would say are in their basic form and haven't been levelled up. There will be powers we haven't seen at all and then there's the various upgrades for those powers.
Those alone are enough to keep me interested never mind the fact we haven't seen anything like even half the different areas, gangs/enemies or bosses you'll face off against.
