Why are people ragging on HHG for this article?
It might not be something that has been officially announced or anything like that but as a gamer it is nice to know what devs/publishers/platform holders are up to and what they might be bringing to the fore.

If you have a BC enabled PS3 I highly recommend picking up the first 2 games in the series. There will be no better way to hype yourself for GOW3 than playing those 2 games.
If you have a PSP I also HIGHLY recommend Chains of Olympus!
I've recently started playing Pacific Rift again and it is a ton of fun.
That doesn't mean to say it can't be improved upon. If Fuel can improve upon the awesomeness that is Motorstorm then I'll love the game.

I can only hope the EU Blog is as good as the US blog. I check the US blog all the time, Jeff and Chris do a really fantastic job with it and other people within Sony along with some devs and publishers support it a lot also. Really hope the same thing happens with the EU Blog.
There are a lot of people who love the work of people like David Jaffe and Team ICO.
We know that these two studios are developing games but the actual games remain unannounced.
We know Rockstar have a contract with Sony for some exclusive games, as do NCSoft. None of these games have been announced either.

Nothing wrong with choosing your multi-plats on your 360 if you like that reward system better. Main thing is you recognise great games and play em. Bubbles.
Considering Sony outsourced a 3rd party partner to design and distribute merchandise you can reest assured Sony's game design studios will be working on games and not KZ2 t-shirt designs.

You have to remember though it'll be judged on the combined sales of both episodes. None of us are prophetic enough to know how it will sell or how the first episode will ultimately sell.
Sony's full release games have always sold more over time, I wouldn't be sure it's unreasonable to think some DLC for this game even though it is on another system can't be the same.

MS having 5 games in the top 20 in SWEDEN doesn't really tie in to what you said in your original comment.
Japan is the home of Sony, not Europe. The Playstation has just always been popular in the region.
What Nintendo need is someone with a little bit of charisma on stage. Both myself and a friend watched Gamespot's E3 coverage last year and were talking on msn as it was going and we both thought this Reggie guy had all the charisma of a hubcap.
Their E3 for this year probably won't be as bad as last year.

I have always been very interested in Prototype and will most likely buy it also, maybe just not day 1.
I think it isn't just about Blu-Ray, of course the extra space is an awesome thing but it is probably more to do with the raw power of the CPU and how it interacts with the GPU (talking about PS3 here). Of course you integrate those things with the space of BR and how it works to give the end result.
What PR trashtalk are you talking about? There isn't really anything in the article that is false.
Developers, when asked will always use the fact that dev costs being higher this gen as a reason as to why games cost $60 this gen. Games are going multi plat because devs and publishers need to maximize revenue, especially now with the current climate.

Sony did say it can only be done on PS3 but you have to remember that what they mean is that in it's current form it can only be done on PS3. It could of course be done on 360 but it would either be "dumbed" down or across multiple discs or perhaps even both.
Now would it bother me if MS took a one time Sony exclusive like MGS4? Not at all, it's not like Sony exclusives are hard to come by and it isn't like those exclusives aren't awesome games eiher because they are....
As much as I love GOW and am anticipating it (my most anticipated game EVER btw) we already know about it and I doubt there will be anything we're told at E3 which will be on the megaton level. We'll probably see more gameplay and learn some more features and ofc the release date.
I'll be quite concerned if E3 passes without MS giving us something more exciting than revelations of new features and a release date for a game we already know is coming early next year.
