I'm actually very excited for Scorpio just like I was for PS4 Pro before the reveal. I think gamers are ready for a more power console now. Granted games on standard PS4 still look amazing but it's only human nature to constantly want more. PS4 pro just didn't go far enough for my tastes. All Xbox One games will still play on it and it will have Xbox 360 backwards compatibility. Scorpio will be the superior console for all newer games moving forward even over PS4 Pro.
So basically no differences between PS4 and PS4 Pro as usual.
I actually think simulation style games is where VR will shine the most. For me the 2 most promising looking PSVR titles coming up is Ace Combat and Grand Turismo. Both of these games I've never been too crazy about on consoles, but flying a jet and racing in a Porsche in VR is completely different experience if done correctly.

It is quite the pedestrian upgrade that's if you can really call it an upgrade. They hail it as a 4k entertainment system yet low ball and not include a 4k bluray drive. To everyone praising them about keeping the price low, isn't that the purpose of PS4 Slim? I really really wanted to buy a PS4 pro and was looking forward to it during the project Morpheus rumors. But this is a disappointment plain and simple and has opened the doors for Microsoft to capitalize with Scorpio.

This thing is a waste of money. Just a PS4 Remastered. Sure it all sounds good on paper but in execution the only thing Sony has done is gotten people to buy the same console twice. PS4 Pro isn't even using that 4.2 tf to maintain parity with standard PS4. And how can you say for sure the same will happen with Scorpio? Have you actually seen the games? Microsoft is building a powerful console and has more to gain by taking risks than Sony does. All this talk about PS4 exclusives but how many of those exclusives have actually lived up to expectations? Not many.
For that very reason I've been holding out on buying a PS4 Pro. I want to wait and see what Scorpio is all about. In the meantime my PS4 has been doing just fine.

I'm pretty excited to see the Scorpio. I wouldn't be surprised if it still has features yet to be revealed. I don't see why people are so hard on the console. You all should actually be rooting for Xbox. Believe me when I tell you a monopoly is the last thing PlayStation fans want for PlayStation.

All Sony needs to do this year is keep the focus on games. Last year they were clearly focused on hardware and selling services but this year they need to ramp up the games. Nobody really cares about PS4 Pro or PSVR except the ones that already got it. Everyone else just wants to see more games to play on their PS4s. PSVR does have potential but it still has a way to go and need more software to justify spending $500 bucks for the whole kit.
