I'm sorry but the difference between Pro and standard PS4 is so small even on a 4k TV. I've yet to see a difference that justifies the price other than sharper blades of grass. I guess the eyes only see what it wants to see but some of these images I thought looked better on standard PS4. They should do a test next time and deliberately not put Pro in the screenshot and see if people can still tell the pics apart.
I actually hope they are coming to an end. Console exclusivity only promotes brand loyalty which empowers fanboys. I used to think it was no big deal but seeing how gamers go on and on about defending one console over another and take it so personally, I see that it has a psychological effect on the gamer. Almost like they've made some kind of personal connection and see their console more as a pet instead of a gaming system. I own a PS4 which I do enjoy but if I were to say a single bad ...
It seems like for every great decision Nintendo makes they always cancel it out with an equally dumb decision.
I'm not really sure how the switch works but it does sound intriguing. The thing that worries me is being less powerful than PS4. While PS4 is great the standard version is already starting to show some age and limitations of the CPU. But as is always the case the price is what matters most. Even though the Switch is newer they need to launch it either at the same price as PS4 Slim ( 250ish) or less. Even if it means taking a loss for each unit sold they need to get it out there to as man...
Looking forward to that Xbox Scorpio!
Fishing in FF15 makes me wanna go fishing in real life. So relaxing
I love my PS4 but i'm looking forward to seeing what Xbox Scorpio has in store. Doesn't make much sense to get a Pro if you already have a PS4 but atleast Scorpio and Nintendo Switch offers something different from the usual. PS4 to PS Pro is like going from Iphone 6 to iphone 6s. But Scorpio actually takes a pretty decent leap that might actually be worth an upgrade, though it remains to be seen.
Why can't people just understand that's just the way Japanese culture is? Not everyone society sees sex the same way. Only Americans whine about everything for no reason.
It really all depends. I think it's safe to say at this point that gamers are biased. If you grew up playing PlayStation it's almost natural that particular gamer will have a soft spot for all things PlayStation. It all goes back to memories of the 1st time you played Crash and Tomb Raider, at which you were alot younger than you are today. Same goes for Xbox and Nintendo because for a lot of gamers, the 360 or Gamecube was their very first console. So they'll always long for a ne...
I think maybe a different name would have helped push sales. The thing is most PS4 players never played Titan Fall 1 because it was Xbox exclusive. It's hard for people to get hyped for part 2 of something having never played the original. Maybe EA should have named it Titan Fall Infinite to signal a fresh start to the series and named COD something different. It's a minor touch to the name but you would be surprised to find out how something that simple affects the human Psych and u...
Bro Final fantasy just evolved over the years. With new technology new and more interactive experiences are bound to happen. Surely you don't think they should have stuck with the old 8 bit Nintendo strategy after all these years? But they still offer those as well in handhelds.
This is unfortunate news because TF2 really is alot of fun. Has a very solid campaign and I'm addicted to the multiplayer. I guess they just got the short end of the stick which isn't good because I would love to see a TF3. People are really missing out on a great game.
I think timing really has been to their disadvantage not only because it retailed between BF1 and COD, but also because of the wealth of new hardware being sold. Xbox1s, PS4 Pro, PSVR, 4K HDR TVs, Titan ...
I think gamers just ran low on cash from having their hands tied purchasing new hardware. PS4 Pro, Xbox One S, PSVR, 4k HDR television sets etc. It all starts to add up rather quickly.
It's true the PS4 Pro isn't meant for everyone. That's why you have the standard PS4 and now the PS4 Pro. They are intended to appeal to different audiences. Having said that you wouldn't be wrong getting a Pro or sticking with your PS4. That's the good thing about having options, this way everyone wins. Just because one person gets a Pro doesn't mean you have to immediately do the same if you already have a perfectly fine PS4.
I dont see how thats too expensive when you got people buying PS4 Pro, PSVR, PS Eye, Move controllers, and games for over $1000 bucks. The fact that people would still buy PS4 Pro even though they already own a PS4 means that people are willing to spend more for something better. If it's okay for Sony to do it then what's the problem with Microsoft doing it their own way?
PS4 Pro is basically Sony's answer to all the finicky gamers that whine about low fps and resolution. They saw an opportunity to make some cash off those gamers and did just that. So what you have is basically what the PS4 was supposed to be at launch, but do to keeping prices low and consumers unwillingness to spend over $400 back when PS4 1st launched they could only squeeze so much into the console.
It remains to be seen how successful Scorpio will be given it's ...
This right here is why I'm not getting a Pro. It will never be able to live up to its potential as long as it's tied down to PS4.
This is the main reason I've held off on getting a Pro. When Sony started talking about keeping parity with PS4 that's basically their way of saying the original PS4 is gonna always limit PS4 Pro performance. All it takes is for something like this, where PS4 players start complaining about Pro players having an unfair advantage. I love my PS4 and I'm gonna hang on to it because the games still are pretty awesome, but I've decided to wait it out and see how the Switch and Scor...
Just because something is cheaper doesn't mean it's better.
They do be having some good sales but i still like hard copies. I wish you could buy a game digitally and still get the disk mailed to you. Now that would be consumer friendly.
