I'm just curious what exactly is the beef with QTEs? As long as they aren't over doing it for me it's a welcome change of pace in games sometimes.
I don't think Sony did any defense at all. Microsoft made it so easy to counter them that all Sony did was show some games they have in development. Basically just another day, dominance continues.
And there lies the problem. What incentive do developers have to go the extra mile on XboxOneX? Clearly PS4 has the dominant player base meaning there is more money to be made on PS4. The only way I see devs taking advantage of XboxOnex is if Microsoft shells out some extra cash. I know Microsoft has deep pockets but even they have a limit to how much they can spend on one platform.
It would be cool if Sony announced a price cut for PS4 Pro. Not that they need to but it would definitely help push more units, and would put Xbox One X in a very difficult position. If Sony really wanted to take Xbox out the game, right now seems to be the best time to do it.
People don't have a life.
I was seriously considering getting a Scorpio but this mediocre conference turned me off completely. I think this was actually the most boring one in recent memory. I fell asleep shortly after the Assassins Creed reveal. Seemed like they had nothing else worth showing.
It's not that it's priced too high but it has no system sellers. Even with impressive hardware, it's lacking in compelling games to play. Even the Switch had Zelda to move units. They do have Forza but then again so did Xbox One.
Well, I kept an open mind and honestly that conference literally put me to sleep. The only thing I walked away excited about was Assassins Creed and that will be on PS4 too.
The key to success with Scorpio all depends on the marketing. While $500 is a lot of money for most people there are still those that can afford it. One thing is for certain MS has to do a better job of marketing the Scorpio than Sony did for the Pro. I think we all can agree that the PS4 Pro reveal was meh. You couldn't even tell the difference between it and regular PS4. Microsoft has to show the gap in power as well as reveal some new games. They have to really get out and sell this th...
If anybody is negative towards backwards compatibility, you need to seek help seriously.
All I know is E3 is going to be awesome for both Xbox and PS4. There's going to be alot of amazing looking games coming out for both platforms. You really can't go wrong. Personally, I'm looking forward to learning more about Scorpio. I'll still keep my PS4 for exclusives but I'll be getting a Scorpio at launch.
Getting a Scorpio pre-ordered as soon as it's available. I wonder what the official name will be?
Sega Channel was amazing because at the time the Genesis was still a very popular console and suddenly with Sega channel you got instant access to every genesis game ever made. For me as a little kid at the time, it felt like the holy grail of gaming. lol Me and my friends used to just go down the list. Suddenly all the kids in the neighborhood wanted come over my house. lol It would be so awesome if Sega were to bring that back.
I actually thought OG Shaq Fu was pretty good. I used to play it on Sega Channel back in the day. Obviously back in the 90s internet didn't play such a major role in everyones life, so you were left to your own opinions about games and your friends. The video said the old one sucked but me and my friends used to love it. Maybe according to the media and sales it did suck, but as a kid in the 90's that kind of stuff didn't matter. If you liked it you liked it.
What I find interesting is that $20 a year is a pretty good deal no matter how you look at it. Yet there are still haters on this site to try and downplay it who doesn't even plan on buying a Switch. This used to be a good site to chat but now it's overflowing with haters.
Tekken 2 was one of my very first PlayStation games, that and Crash Bandicoot. I cannot wait to play this with my dad and relive the great memories. :)
Good point
Believe me I understand. Crash was my very 1st game for PlayStation under my Christmas tree when i was a little kid. I definitely can understand the sentimental value. But it's time for people to grow up and just be happy they're making a new Crash game at all.
I just don't see why this game being exclusive matters so much to you people. Just be thankful it is coming out on PlayStation. So what if Xbox or Nintendo fans get an opportunity to play it. You should be happy for them.
That's what happens when you don't have any real competition to push you. There's no pressure for Sony because they are in the drivers seat. But this is what PlayStation fans want, to see Sony become a monopoly. If they do totally take over one day this is exactly how E3 will be from now on. Bland and boring, but apparently this generation doesn't see the good of having competition.
