Either way the 3DS had a much longer lifespan than the Vita. Like opposite Wii U and PS4. Oh wait I'm not supposed to say that here....
Probably because Nintendo makes good consoles and great games. It's sad what happened to Wii U but Sony almost suffered the same fate when PS3 came out. Wii U might have been a failure but the 3DS probably the most underrated console ever. Don't take my word for it, play Super Mario 3d Land.
I mostly agree but it's still too soon to judge the Scorpio. I really don't think Microsoft is gonna do the same thing Sony did. Sony was able to play it safe because they're already dominating this generation and has less to lose. Microsoft on the other hand is looking to gain ground, so your basically looking at two different motives. However this is looking like a good games year for PS4 so people may just say screw the Pro and the Scorpio and just stick with PS4 until the next...
PS4 Pro is basically just a refined PS4. It's a pretty good value if you can accept it for what it is. I think most PS4 fans were a little disappointed because we were expecting a bit more, but it is called "PS4" pro for a reason. Having said that PS4 is an awesome game console so you really can't go wrong either way.
I guess Sony figures they need to add something to make the Pro a more appealing proposition.
At least that still leaves hope for a Titan Fall 3. I can't believe so many people missed out on that game. Prime example of a diamond in the rough.
I still remember how upset people were with Watch Dogs 2 when they first saw the main character was black. All because the setting was in San Francisco. Apparently blacks aren't allowed to live there. Now everytime a game stars a female it's feminist? Apparently Lara Croft is the only exception. The hypocrisy is great indeed.
That's because 2016 too much fuss was made over hardware and services: PS4 Slim, PS4 Pro, PSVR, PS Move, PS Now, PS Vue, Xbox One S, etc. All the fuss over hardware is a distraction for developers. So for one game a dev has to make various iterations for the majority of all these different platforms. Take COD for example; Not only do they have to make a PS4 version, they then have to give it some kind of PS4 Pro Support, add some VR content, make Xbox 1S version, and don't forget abou...
How about 4k bluray playback support on PS4 Pro? I mean it is a 4k device isn't it?
Agree 100%
I think almost everyone on N4G is a little biased.
I don't see the problem with Xbox games coming to PC. Chances are if you own a console then PC gaming isn't really your thing anyway. And if you game on PC then you don't really care much for consoles. Most people I know that game on PC do it mostly as a hobby and there's nothing wrong with that. all Microsoft is doing is giving that audience more games to play which also opens up another stream of software sales for Xbox which is a win win situation. As for Scorpio, gamers th...
Good things come to those who wait.
I love PlayStation but it seems like all their spin-offs and peripherals hardly ever get any real support. The PSP may have sold well but despite that, it had the exact same issues as the Vita. I loved my PSP but it needed more games. Same with Vita, people love it but it needs more games. Same with PS Move, people loved it but it needed more games that support it, same with PS eye. Only time will tell how much support PSVR and PS4 Pro get because their still new, but giving the track record ...
So much hate in this comment lol
That's true and I agree with you. I was only thinking back to post launch of this generation and people were making a big deal out of BC as well as DRM policies. Obviously it didn't stop people from buying the consoles thankfully. I'm just happy Microsoft is getting back on track and looking forward to the Scorpio. It would be my first Xbox console ever.
Bringing back backwards compatibility is one of the smartest things Xbox has done this entire generation. I remember when PS4 and Xbox 1 launched without BC it almost was a deal breaker for alot of people. Because you spend alot of time and money building up your game collections, and then when the next generation console comes out, these companies expect you to just push it all to the side. It also makes it easier to buy new hardware because when consoles initially launch there's not alo...
Same here
You can barely tell the difference between PS4 Pro and proper PS4 games.
