@Kornholic:
That is irrelevant to Canadians. Exchange rates do not account for the practical costs to people who actually use the currency. The cost of living here is higher in most areas vs most of the USA, and wages are much lower. $75 CAD from an affordability standpoint is easily equal to $100 USD. Maybe even $120.
The greatest video game villain of all... Navi.
@NewMonday:
There is no bottleneck. On the contrary, it could be said Sony has somewhat of a bottleneck due to the variable clock rate. The SX runs at a fixed clock rate, meaning it will always be running @ 12TF, the PS5 is variable and will drop as low as 9TF. (we will have to wait and see how the system actually handles this, the information from Sony so far has been a bit vague).
-12TF fixed rate, vs 9-10TF variable. 52 CU's x 1.825Ghz = 94.9, 36 ...
More like a redneck marshmallow in black overalls.
The original could be beat in ~35 hours. 45 if you did everything, including grinding all characters to 99. FFIX was around 25 for the main story. This is about average by PS1 FF standards.
@Sampsonon:
Your logic is severely flawed. Learn about emulation before you make more of a fool out of yourself.
IMO, Raiden & Turok 2 alone are worth the cost.
They hacked them all. The PS3 has been cracked at a hardware level for many years now. It cannot be patched through firmware.
The PS3 has 512MB of ram. It is just split into 2 separate pools of 256, rather than a single 512. It is a common misconception that the other 256 is "system" memory. It is actually more of a general purpose pool, with only 50MB of it actually locked to the OS. The remaining 206MB can be called on by games if needed.
PS3 = 256MB dedicated XDR VRam @ 3.2 GHZ + 256MB DDR3 general purpose ram @ 700 MHZ. 50MB of which is dedicated to the OS. Leaving 462MB available to...
Several of these already have remasters.
M.E 1&2 were remastered in the M.E 3 engine for the trilogy collection on PS3.
MGS 2, Snake Eater, & Peace Walker were remastered in the MGS HD Collection on PS3.
Chrono Trigger was remastered on the DS (not home consoles but still technically a remaster)
FF 1, 2, 3 & 4 were all fully remade for the PSP. The remakes of 3 & 4 were also on the DS & PC.

Presumably they would want the planet to still be ecologically viable for themselfs afterwards. Blowing everything to hell would defeat the point.
Edit: Didn't notice the European version also included all the content from the US version.
@Gaming101:
Odd, now i am seriously questioning reality itself. I just checked and she was 21, the guy was 24. I clearly recall looking them up back when it came out and seeing them listed as 27 and 33, respectively.
Regardless, neither of them passed for anywhere close to 17, as the characters were supposed to be.
Personally enjoyed the plot in Tokyo Drift, but wish they had hired younger actors. Seeing a 30-somthing guy getting scolded by his father and a very obviously mid-late 20s woman walking around in a Japanese school girl outfit was hilariously cringeworthy.
Yes, but then you can always do prequels, remakes, or even reboots. Keep popular franchises going without force feeding the story.
*Meat fragmentation shape charge.
@crazyCoconuts:
This will likely be a PS3 vs 360 type deal again, where the SX will be harder to program for due to the higher CU count, but when developers do take advantage of it, it will provide a clear performance advantage.
Sony seems to be putting more focus on keeping it easy to code for, while MS is packing in as much power as they possibly can, even if that means it will have a steeper learning curve for developers.
I am currently using an SSD in my PS3 which is obviously not 5400 or 7200 RPM, and i previously had a 10k RPM 3.5" drive connected and working (with a cable extension), so yes isarai, you are wrong. Not sure where you got those requirements but they are false. As long as you have a way of connecting it, it will work. The system does not do any kind of compatability check on drives.
Non existence is coming soon to Stadia. It was DOA and Google is just beating a dead horse at this point.
