My ps4 will work just the same once ps5 launches last time I checked, just like my ps3, ps2 and the ps1.

Sony has absolutely no reason to talk about PS5. Microsoft always blows its load early with xbox. They try to get out ahead with the next gen while abandoning their current platform. They stop making 1st party games early on because they have no gaming soul. It will always be about the bottom dollar with them which means they think about money first, consumer satisfaction second, not realizing if you focus on the the later first, youll organically grow the former.
Guaranteed ps5 beats xbox s x in NA, since that is the only market Microsoft stands a chance in 🤣🤣

I agree completely. However on another note, just because Microsoft is super eager to start it's next gen, doesn't mean Sony has to. They are not the ones who are struggling. I would even say as long as the ps4 keeps coming out with great games, they could have it go toe to toe with xbox se: x. for a while.

i am not buying a pc over a ps5. Most people who buy consoles will not buy a pc just because a game is no longer 'exclusive'. Ive never considered pc in the same realm as console anyways...
yet you had nothing that looked and played as well as spiderman, god of war, horizon, bloodborne or uncharted.
you cant even take advantage of all those new teraflops outside of extra foliage and more rain drops, literally no reason to buy the console if you already own an xbox one, s or x
