Sony will need a healthy gap beween their releases PS and PC in order to not cut into their console game revenue since the former will always buy it on PC. If they plan it right, PC gamers will be willing to purchase the game twice just for the higher fidelity.

You need to see the bigger picture. It’s all making sense now. There is a reason why the graphics look the way they do and it’s not because of “artistic vision”. They are basically performing a cash grab under the guise of a new halo game. A free to play multiplayer tells us their intention was not to spend a lot of money in the graphics dept.
