First time I’ve ever heard of a poll being biased because of a larger census, you Xbox boys are something else 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

I believe forza horizon 3 is still 30fps on Xbox s x. I don’t care about it, just providing clarity.

Only broke boys fret over paying an extra 20-50 bucks after shelling out hundreds of dollars for a new console. I don’t give a **** about the price model. I’m buying all their ****

Make the most powerful hardware to play the most mediocre games. Makes sense. /s

These games were going to end up on game pass anyway. Not a large win for an insane amount of money...

Yea the same holds true here. Games built for ps4, optimized for ps5. Not true next gen. The difference with Xbox is ALL of their games are built for xbox one. Sony will have a mix.

Its no different from what they’ve done in the past, but they should have stepped up and controlled the narrative instead of staying silent.

This makes sense if developers need to learn new skills to add next-gen technology to their games. That cost to learn will be passed to the customer. However there are some companies *cough*Take Two*cough* who charge 100 dollars for content, and then include pay to win in their design.

Nothing wrong with micro transactions for content made to extend the original experience. The problem is when the original experience is designed to include micro transactions.

By your logic, people should skip the Series S and buy an x1s since it will be cheaper and play the same games as the Series S. It will be the cheapest way to play new games.

Video games are a luxury item. I dont believe people will come into the next generation looking for less capable hardware just because they can save 100 dollars. If you can pay $300, then you can pay $400. We arent talking about a large gap here....

I don’t consider this game to take full advantage of the PS5 due to being made compatible with PS4. And yes Xbox was criticized for the same thing. Halo looking like ass cheeks only strengthened the argument. Now that that’s out of the way, this game looks incredible. PS5 is the only true next generation console.

Miles Morales is not the face of the console though... This is a consequence of not having a strong first party line up. All your eggs go into 1 basket even if you didnt want them too.

what are you talking about.. the games still need to work on xbox one vcr and the xbox 1 s so the "Jaguar based HDD driven system" is still alive and well, at least for the next 2 years. They only cancelled the one x because it would be a direct competitor to the S and would cause purchase confusion. Imagine if the X was still being produced, this thread alone shows how confusing it would be to a casual.

With the speed of the ssd, you could essentially hit a button and enter an entirely different realm for another character. Incredible...

in my opinion, most console gamers are not pc gamers, however many (not all) pc gamers own a console. Sony will need a healthy gap beween their releases PS and PC in order to not cut into their console game revenue since the former will always buy it on PC. If they plan it right, PC gamers will be willing to purchase the game twice just for the higher fidelity.

Not the series s, the regular s. Games must be coded to the lowest common denominator first in order to ensure they can scale properly. This means level design will cater to the original xbo and xbo s due to lower and slower memory / processing capabilities.
