Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I believe what they are trying saying there is no NEW killer IP that Sony has revealed yet. While this may be true, Sony has revealed 3 guaranteed killer apps (Spider-Man, Horizon, Ratchet and Clank) and a handful of NEW IPs that could become killer apps.

I can tell you with certainty Xbox is competing with itself due to the mere existence of the X1X. In addition, the mediocre looking AA launch titles will muddy the waters as to why someone would buy an XsX over an X1X.
Presenting old games (games pass) as one of the primary reasons to purchase a NEW console will not resonate with early adopters, especially when your competition has similar features AND new games.
