You can’t focus on movie level graphics with ps1 game mechanics. You can’t make your game look like a movie and still have the character not react in a natural way when running into walls or spinning the character in circles, etc.
Sony needs to create a digital game rental service PER GAME. A one time 3 hour game rental for 2.99-5 bucks. They’d make a killing and would allow gamers to realize the value of the game instead of going all in only to not like it.
