Much of that is true.

I also think he was getting at the bigger picture of what isn't available on the 360 because it is more closed in several other ways.

1. Browser. Valve sites, stats etc would be available without requiring a custom XBL interface. Valve can create what THEY want and change it without needing approval etc.
2. Browser also makes lots of other non-Sony content available for free. Like game mods.
3. Game mods. Sony is fin...

"a feature that isn't widely implemented is not a feature its a bullet point"

Um no it's a feature implemented in the game that implements it. Duh. Like mods.

Or did you mean like the Facebook service that is freely available on the internet but XBL Silver users can't access. That kind of not widely implemented?

Or on-line gaming? That kind of bullet point? Certainly not widely implemented like PSN where it is actually ...

You can use a keyboard and mouse on the PS3. It's up to developers if they want to enable it.

FordGTGuy is just butt hurt because he bought a launch 360 for $499 and was told HDMI was useless. Then he bought a $399 Elite because he was told HDMI 1.2 was good enough for this gen.

All so he could throw his money away play next gen games on a 480p SD TV. You know because HDTV were $2000 and too expensive when the 360 launched.

And now he finds out that he will have to buy a PS3 anyway to really enjoy the coming 3D wave. Between his Live and console co...

If they hadn't told everyone they were within industry standard failure rates while the whole RROD fiasco was going on you might have a point.

But since they pulled the wool over people's eyes why would anyone trust them again? Especially when they didn't fix the scratch discing problem this time either. The simple and inexpensive one. It would have cost them a penny or two to clamp it down properly.

The onus isn't on the consumer to spend th...

LOL. Does 6 way video-chat with crystal clear audio. I guess the 360 is even more bottlenecked then. We certainly know that's the case with games.

Doesn't do cross-game chat because it is a side-issue. It's only the few hardcore nuts that care about that feature. And lots of cheaters that use it to give away positions.

It's only on the list because that's all 360 fanboys have left to talk about and justify paying hundred(s) every year for ...

Of course you are. Your HDMI 1.2 console is the red-headed stepchild of the 3D world. I'd be pissed if I had duped multiple times as well. First component then HDMI 1.2. LOL.

"he 360 has a better RAM setup on paper and in reality. "

Because when HALF your RAM is 4.5x SLOWER (3.2GHZ vs 700Mhz) than the PS3 RAM it's considered by 360 fanboys to be better. In their distortion field they call reality.

Um yeah it can. It does all of that.

And the new kung fu game uses skeletal body tracking as well. And tech demos have already demonstrated Sony has their own body tracking tools also.

And because the hardware is doing much of the work for positioning it will be combined with stereoscopic 3D in conjunction with all of the above for AAA games like Killzone 3, GT5. Not just lo...

Funny but sockpuppets and trolls were also going around to all the boards saying the same thing about the RROD 6 months after the 360 launched. It's a conspiracy by Sony and their fanboys to bring down the Xbox 1.5.

MS executives were claiming they were within industry standards when asked. And then cashing out their stocks in an unscheduled manner months before they let suckers like you in on the "joke". Ha Ha.

It's just a conspiracy they w...

As far as Pachter. Well kettle and all that. The only difference is he does it for money.

And they have outsold the 360 by 6 million units in the same time frame at twice the price.

Using your logic every next gen console is in last place to the PS2.

Think you have that backwards. Natal is the one that has only demonstrated people playing with red balls.

The Eye can do whole body skeletal tracking. Facial recognition. Voice recognition. Head tracking.

You do realize that for either you will need to be standing at least 8ft away for full body tracking.

With space to actually move around behind you 12 ft will be preferable. Hope you have lots of living room space.

"Sure the CLOCKSPEED is 4.5x higher, but the 256MB of XDR is on a more narrow memory bus. The Cell's 256MB of XDR has about 25.6GB/s of memory bandwidth compared to the Xbox 360 or the RSX's DDR3 both of which have about 22.4GB/s."

Your missing the point. The CPU is waiting around on the memory to complete copy and moves etc if the RAM is slower than the CPU.

Why do you think PC's have small expensive high-speed RAM caches? Usually of on...

Your the one that asserted console games are higher and I pay more for software. Not me. And that cost was much higher and made the overall cost of ownership of console was higher. The burden of proof was on you. You failed. Spectacularly. I picked the popular games that people buy and therefore would be relevant.

I have a launch 60Gb upgraded to 250Gb. PS2 games are working just fine. So is the PS2 for that matter.
