MS is finished for at least a decade in the mobile market. Android and iPhone have already wiped it out before it can even start. It's only the die hard M$ fanboys that can't see it.
Developers have abandoned it unless MS pays them. The other platforms have developers flocking to them in droves without compensation. The ecosystem has already been lost before the war started. There is already an app for everything on both those platforms because of that. M$ will never...
No it can't be upgraded to HDMI 1.4 for the hardware portions. But for the software portions like those required for 3D it can. Instead of the HDMI 1.4 chip doing the frame-packing for 3D the PS3 does it and ships it off. The TV or whatever doesn't know the difference. SInce 1.3 has the same bandwidth to ship the data over it works. HDMI 1.2 used in the 360 is half the bandwidth and doesn't work with this new standard.
So it does have 1.4 capability just not ever...
Well Brits are apparently about twice the average. Hmm. i suspect it's because employers/health system over there doesn't cover glass purchases to the same level as North America or the population is a bit older.

Because direct input is superior to an indirect input for all sorts of tasks. A mouse introduces a disconnect between where you want to "aim" your pencil that a stylus doesn't. Same principle applies here. Where I point is where I shoot.

I'm not the one that comes into every 3D thread lying to everyone about the price of 3D like hoops does. You can get 3D TV's for less than some 2D TV's just like you can get LED for less than non-LED depending on mfg etc. 3D is just another feature to choose like size, LED, plasma, size.
Where are all the articles about how expensive LED is compared to non-LED? Or how nobody wants new features on a technology product. It's ludicr...
