Ain't going to happen. You need to understand MS's DNA. They want to monopolize the windows gaming world as a layer on top of their WIndows monopoly. Largely thru the on-line mechanism of Live. They also want to limit game development on other platforms like the Mac, Linux, etc as they are a long term threat to undermining the WIndows monopoly.

If they support 32-players and up they are dedicated. Which has been most of the AAA games that Sony has control over (and obviously where large groups on screen actually makes sense to have them). Uncharted 2 might be the only one in that category that doesn't.

HDMI 1.2 isn't good enough for the new HDMI 1.4 standard supported by both the PS3 and the PC INDUSTRY. Developers have to code for every specific TV (like Avatar) and most of them have told MS to get lost.

They will still be player-hosted servers. Just running at Epic instead of in your home. Hence the ridding of host advantage when your home system is picked as the host server as in the current setups.
They will force (ie. dedicate) Epic servers to be the host. That prevents hosts from intentionally use lag switches etc to give them an advantage against everyone else in the game because they are running the server portion on their system.
