Just one example is TimeMachine which is both good to look at and functional. Had been waiting on MS for 20 years to get something so critical and simple done even half as well. Gave up.
Hundreds of thousands of apps say hello. Developers have flocked to the Apple ecosystem and are leaving Windows to the legacy market which is itself will be eaten up by the web/cloud market over the next decade.

Android is free to OEM's, Apple UI is still best in class and Win 7 has no apps and looks to be another clunker in the spirit of Kin. RIM continues to expand market despite all the Android and Apple love in the media.

Yes it can. Plus 7.1 lossless audio. Plus a whole slew of audio upscaling options for music the 360 doesn't have. Plus storing video, music, photos and playlists on the system itself and using IT as a media server. . No extra PC's required. 360 seems to need the help of a PC to do it. 360 has the same lossy 5.1 audio as the original Xbox for both movies and games.

It's not a conspiracy theory. It's a fact MS uses this tactic on a continuous basis. They fund studies to get the outcome they want so they can them send them to all of the media sites that usually pass it off as an independent fact. Before you call other people intellectually lazy I suggest you read thru the Comes vs MS trial documents as a starting place. The funded studies are the least of the tactics documented on the public record.
