The title Resident Evil doesn't really work, does it? It sounds like a brooding and sinister undercurrent of evil. Kind of like the original games were.

Because Dead Space is the king of Survival Horror. Most atmospheric and scariest game yet.

RE5 demo does get tense, but it's tense in the same way that Gears is.
But then I prefer scares to fighting hordes of last gen enemies, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Windwakers cell-shaded art style just seemed to fit the Zelda universe IMO.
I also really liked the sailing element. Fishing for gold with the grappling hook, charting unknown areas of the sea, Seeing huge islands in the distance that gradually approached until you had an entire level in front of you. They were some serious draw distances ;) Awesome!

Wouldn't a game developed for a 700MHz machine in 2009 look better than a game developed on a 700MHz machine in 2004 anyway?
Games tend to look better as people get used to technology and optimising code.
Resident Evil 4 came at the end of last gen and it was the best looking gamecube game by far.
God of War 2 came at the end of last gen too and it was one of the best looking games of the generation.

By who? Not the critics. Not IGN (the most credible review site) It's the lowest scoring Mario Kart on metacritic. And I doubt it would be considered the best by anyone who played the original on SNES. Original and still the best I might add. (And it also had no blue shells!)

The Wii deserves a GTA.
I think it would sell well. Probably the most cost effective way to get a GTA on the Wii would be to port San Andreas.
Take Two already have all the character / car models, maps, game engine that the Wii is capable of running.
Port that then they could spend a little extra time using those extra couple of bytes that the Wii has to polish it.
Add waggle for hot wiring. Add motion for working out at the gym.

When you say that the Wii is printing money it is ... for Nintendo.
Not so much for other devs.
There are some devs making money from the Wii, but not many that release "adult" orientated games.

You're right, he shouldn't have implied that the Wii wasn't current gen.
As we all know, any system that came out 2006 or later (regardless of what it can actually do) is classed as current gen.
He should have been diplomatic and said that EA wanted to create the game for the two current generation consoles that have the sort of processing power that you would expect from consoles that were released 5/6 years after the last generation.
To be fair to the developer he didn't actually say that the Wii wasn't next gen. Although I suppose he did imply it.
To be honest the Wii version of the original was always going to be best one. Godfather was a last gen game and it played like a last gen game only it had improved visuals on the PS3 and 360.
The wii version was better because it had decent controls.
I'm not accusing you of this mint royal but a lot of Wii owners think that PS3 and 360 = b...

Brawl - I can appreciate why people really enjoy it, but it isn't my kind of game.
Wii Kart - Played it at a friends. I was a pretty disappointed by it to be honest - Blue shells etc. The first is still the best IMHO.

GTA was brilliant for me purely for the online element.
I would have payed $60 just for Cops and Crooks.
The whole of the GTA environment opened up for you and your mates to run around causing carnage. Brilliant!
