Looks cool, not sure about the tripod sitting in my living room, but if it makes it work better then I'm all for it.
Although I bet all the kit will be expensive.
I like the idea of using the PS3mote for a FPS. The crouch and leaning to the side looked cool.
I always thought the Wiimote did a good job in Metroid 3 (shame about the recycled last gen Metroid gameplay though). But if the PS3 has a remote too then we can have a cool control scheme and graphi...
mikeslemonade - I have my concerns too.
I really enjoyed RE4 (my favourite last generation game) but it was starting to head more action and less scares.
And RE5 looks to carry on that tradition. All the footage I've seen have you running around in broad daylight fending off tons of Zombies/Las Plagas/Whatever.
I prefer less baddies, more creeping along in the dark knowing that something is hiding in the shadows waiting to give you a scare, but not knowin...
Harsh luck guys.
PS3 titles aren't region encoded are they?
Any chance you could import?
We (in the UK) lose some games too Manhunt 2 for example and No More Heroes had the blood taken out and replaced with some stupid paint stuff.
We also get scr3wed on release dates and price in the UK too.
I ordered my dualshock 3 from the US 2 months before it came out in England AND it was still cheaper buying from the states and shipping it in.

You guys are all wrong.
The third, fourth and fifth pictures are prototypes of the PS4 code-named "casual"
It will come out in a couple more years, but the technology will have only have advanced one year on from the PS3 (1.5x PS3)
It will cost $100 dollars to manufacture but will sell for $250 and it will come with a headband controller that supposedly works off your brain waves, but in real life doesn't actually work as well as the advertising lets you...
Trophies would be nice at some point too.
Played through the game, but not going to bother with the challenges until trophy support is added.
So when is NXE getting Avatar Parade?
Respect Steven!
How did you manage that? I'm guessing you haven't played any other game since VC came out.
Either that or have no job or kids.
I think you need to - you know - read the article....
So you actually know what the subject of discussion is.
I agree Darkseider. The guy writes very articulately and convincingly.
As soon as I went to the site I had that sinking feeling that this guy could actually be right.
Whether he is an insider or an investor he paints a convincing picture.
The more I watch the trailer the more convinced I am that this looks like vapourware.
1080p 60fps CGI like graphics almost sounded too good to be true... a shame.
Let's see if we hear anything back from Digi Guys. ...
Watch it mate.
Be prepared to be called a Sony F'Boy, and you'll also be told you've never owned a Nintendo because you're obviously just a hater... (by the angry user - you all know who he is)
I feel you brother, and you are obviously genuine, but you can't be negative towards the Wii in these articles even if you are just being honest about your feelings.
Cheers mate. I try to entertain.
"But we should not separate ourselves from the casuals. We should work on making casuals and hardcore gamers closer. The PS2 and N64 were perfect for this because I saw gamers of all types play those two consoles."
I agree, but the only problem is that Nintendo took the money making route. Low tech and high mark up.
The PS2 while it did have a lot of shovelware and casual titles, it also had respectable hardware so that if developers wanted to put their bigger b...
PS3 owners, have jobs to afford the better tech, therefore are older and have been with Tomb Raider since PSX.
360 owners, are split. There are the guys that have owned the system when it was more expensive at launch. They are the older gamers with jobs and know who Lara is.
And then the second half are the kids that know enough about tech to want an HD console (you know that ones that scream at you on XBox live) but a PS3 is still too expensive for their meagre allowa...
Nah, Nintendo won't be worried about the Famitsu report.
It's a gaming magazine. Most parents going out to buy a Wii for their children aren't Famitsu readers.
Read Toys R Us magazine. 99% of readers intend to buy a Wii. 0.5% intend to by a PS3, 0.5% intend to buy a 360.
(I made that up by the way)
Of course most readers of a games magazine are going to want a PS3.
No disrespect to Nintendo owners, I know there is a minority of proper hardc...
I hope that boy in the screenshots reaches puberty by the time the game ships.
There's no need for him to look like he's stepped off the set of Gear 2, but a little fluff on his chin wouldn't go a miss.
Wow! This made the Wii N4G hot stories?
...at 70 degrees. Must be a slow day.
Is it the Wii with "Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam" for only 1000 Wii Points?
N4G users are actually pretty good reviewers I've found.
Obviously you get the d'bags that are Sony or M'Soft hater's / f'boys but after having been on the site for a while you get to know which people are the regulars and which people write objectively and intelligently about games.
People give away their personality in their writing and you can get a pretty good feel for a person's mentality, age and most attributes just from their regular contributions.

Me too. All heart pieces, all skultulas. Took time away from my College Degree.
Got most heart pieces and nearly all the poes in Twilight Princess. It was great, but not quite OoT great. OoT was the masterpiece.
There is a lot of grey this generation on the HD consoles in the form of FPSs but the Wii? Grey doesn't really represent the Wii's image does it?
It should be sparkly and rainbow coloured, like all their games.
